  1. Does anyone know if there's an Iggy rescue in the Victorian area? I know there used to be one, but I don't think it's active anymore.
  2. Dogs like to pick the most inconvenient times, don't they. Little pooheads. Mine only like to get sick outside vet clinic hours when it's raining and I haven't washed my hair in days so I'm looking like the wild woman from Borneo rocking up to the emergency clinic
  3. I'm going to nominate Huski for this one, she's totally hot and can get that pinup look in a flash (don't argue with me, Missy!). Can't wait to see the finished product!
  4. As a general rule, the dogs don't sleep on the bed with me because I move around too much and they get cranky with me. Rove does like to prewarm the bed for me every night, though :D Here's Rove prewarming the pillows and upper bed area for me, and Pip prewarming the footsies area. Edited for: yeah, I didn't see the "attach this file" button.
  5. Hah! Mine are exactly the same, heaven forbid they get their dainty paws wet
  6. Have you had him assessed by a vet? It might be a good idea to approach it in a two-pronged way and see if you can find a vet behaviourist. I don't want to sound alarmist, but if you've been consistent with training and you're using the right method with him (as in you're training him in a way that gets him to work for you and using the right drive), then there could be something happening medically with him. I'm *not* saying that there is, but there might be something happening in addition to his behavioural problems that could be aggravating the situation and I'd start there first. Although, I have to say, that sometimes "trying everything" can be a bit tricky if you're chopping and changing the rules on him from month to month. He needs time to learn what's acceptable and what isn't, some dogs aren't as quick on the uptake as others.
  7. 1956/Goodbye My Lady/A few Basenjis were used: My Lady of the Congo (main actor dog), My Lord of the Congo, Flageolet of the Congo/The boy actor got to keep My Lady of the Congo after filming. Thank you, Wikipedia! ETA: Boy's name was Skeeter, played by Brandon De Wilde!
  8. ^^^ Yep, what she said. Make sure doggy is well contained so he can't bail anyone up for the time being and get someone in to assess his behaviour. They'll be able to tell you why he is doing it and then work on a plan to help him stop. There are heaps of really good behaviourists out there
  9. I love love love this guy's videos! He's doing a new one, too!!
  10. Too much happens behind the scenes for me to ever support PH. They act like they're constantly victimised - there's a reason why they always get audited.
  11. They're a delicacy in some parts of the world!
  12. Nyawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Absolutely adore the goofy pics of Kiya and Tits!
  13. :D and clean up afterwards!!! If someone broke into our house, I'd fully expect my borders to pester the robbers/axe murderers/rapists into throwing the ball for them for 2 hours. Hopefully by then the robbers/axe murderers/rapists would have tired themselves out...failing that, I'd have enough time to gonk the robbers/axe murderers/rapists over the head. But then I'd have to throw the ball myself for 2 hours waiting for the police to turn up.
