I have the silver eagle cool mats and have been very happy with them.

That was beautiful Cockerlover - I can not believe that it has been 2 years already.

Unless the dog is inside with you at night you probably don't hear it barking or might think it is coming from somewhere else. OR it is and the neighbours think it is your dog. It must be taken seriously because the next letter will be from the council and will have to be addressed then. I don't know why you think that GSD are not barkers - I have certainly known many who are shocking non stop barkers. I personally hate barking dogs and I doubt many neighbours would drop a note in a letterbox if there wasn't a problem - just might have been the wrong letterbox.

Sydney - 2 Dogs Needed For Movie Work For 6 Days
Andisa replied to sas's topic in General Dog Discussion
Pity you aren't closer, I have a 2 yo male Rottie who barks on command with reasonable obedience who might have been suitable. Sure you can't say anymore - we won't tell anyone -
I bought walls and a trolley cover from them and very happy with it.

Agree My only issue is twice I was caught out without having their A/H mobile number - NOT THEIR FAULT - WAS MINE - I should have made sure I had the numbers. So I had to go to the Em Clinic in Hallam and pay TWICE the regular fee for Monash with em c sections. Rottweiler was $2100 and 1 yr later with a Pug was $2200 at the EM Clinic - Monash is HALF...Was also caught out with mastitis and had to go to the em clinic, a pain shot and AB's and told to go to my regular vet in the morning - over $300. I was at the door at Monash a few hours later when they opened and while I was explaining what happened the wound burst all over the floor. I went to the em clinic because I thought I had an emergency. The bitch was rushed straight in for surgery and was another $300+. While Monash looks after my pets the way they do and me - I will be staying with them. If I was a very good regular customer who was spending money there monthly like many breeders do then I too would be holding out for a discount - "the more you spend the more you save" as the saying goes.

Call you local HS store and ask them - they will find out for you.

Either have I and mine has been set up over night - pegged and roped down securely. Was even thinking about getting a 2nd one but might have to wait for the next sale now.

the concern about this is that it takes a health choice away from the owner. i do not like de-sexing large dogs at that age If it gets in then I would suggest new owners to leave the pups registered with the breeder until they are mature enough to be desexed - but that would be a big risk on some pet owners too. It's not unheard of that some breeders want pups back if they turn out better than they expected or kept the wrong pup themselves. Would make some people be more particular where they place puppies and owners where they purchase them. true, but imo it just complicates things more than necessary and to be honest i am getting over being so regulated as a dog owner Agree - I would hate to see it come in myself.

I had a Rottie bitch spayed about 18 months or so ago and was surprised she wasn't tattooed. Really wish she was and so does Chicken, she was approached by someone a while ago wanting to breed with her and he was not convinced that she was spayed since she didn't have her ear tattooed. Would have been much easier just to show the tattoo and move on. I have read a few comments on DOL that some people would be furious if their vet tattooed their dogs ears but I just wish they were - even our rabbit got his ear done when he was desexed. Makes you wonder why owners refuse ear tattoos as ID for desexing, pet owners shouldn't be too concerned but anyone wanting to enter a dog show sure as hell would object...

But the only way he can enter a ring again after desexing is if his nuggets have been replaced (against the rules) or entered as a neuter.

Agree totally

Huskies Maul Dog Owner's Jack Russell To Death In Savage Attack
Andisa replied to The Spotted Devil's topic in In The News
Everyone knows that fences can be damaged and it is up to the dog owner to house their dogs according to it needs. Naturally the placid calm docile dog does not need to be housed the same as a security dog - but I just wish more owners would take a serious look at what they are living with and house them accordingly. -
Bullbaiting is illegal. Bullmastiffs attacking poachers would be frowned upon these days. So I guess it is the show ring then I can acknowledge that some breeds would have issues in this but in Group 2, who'd miss a few rabbits or mice? You would have the animal libers got off their faces over that one. :D

Puglvr, I was going to add the link to a thread I had in here 2 yrs ago but I see Sway already has. Wish you were closer I would have gladly helped you out. Pm me if you feel like a chat. Good luck.

Sounds like you all had a great time, everyone having different breeds probably made it more enjoyable

Sway - I bought a rubber back dry bedding today while I was at the show and Charli "tested" it out already and the pee soaked in straight away. I thought of you when I saw her peeing on it so watched what happened - got side tracked and couldn't really tell her off but the little bugger just came back from a pee break and peed on the bedding. I was told the first time I bought it not to use it in the whelping box and to wash it in cold water and not to use the drier. But I still used it in the box , Lizzy is a bugger with digging in the bedding - she did a bit of damage to a few pieces so I went back to the green backed bedding for her. I like the rubber backed on the tiles for bedding.

IF he isn't registered now then they have ran out of days - this year is now as good as over..however I would be interested in the reasons for him not already being registered...what ever they are - but, still not good enough. As said above, "Keep walking"
