  1. Just came across this one - but what a mixture: Pug X French Bulldog/Pugalier Puppy with the rip off price tag to go with it. It's anyone's guess to what this will mature like - just a bit of thought to other possibilities to what else could be in Max. edited: spelling ;)
  2. Another suggestion for pug x beagle. One of nephews has 2 of them, they are nice little dogs but their personalities are very different from purebred pugs.
  3. No - sorry. If you have facebook or photobucket it is easier - I still have trouble adding pics on DOL if not taking them from another source. Right click on the photo you want and select copy image URL and click on Insert Image it should be ok. good luck
  4. Me too - mine are raised with Rottweilers and have far too much attitude for their own good. I also think many dogs don't seem to know what to do when pugs approach them, think their snorting/snotting confuses some dogs - and people.
  5. Thanks Erny - after seeing just how good the Calendula tea is - you have converted another. I have one very happy girl here right now who has been going crazy with itching..Thanks heaps.
  6. Not sure why not. Will post them in here. The 2nd pic looks like it has a stain on the dress but it is just the way the lighting is with the material - no stains. The skirt was hard to get the pleats, you can just see them in the 2nd pic.
  7. *I have been in such deep crap over this subject* So I decided to keep it simple As we all know - there is more to a dog than it's tail, but what a difference the tail does make to the whole package.. I have 3 Rotties, 1 docked, 1 with a beautiful thick correctly set tail and 1 with an "ok" tail but still within the breed standard. I much prefer the look of a docked Rottweiler but have to move on.... IF the dog is blessed with a lovely thick tail that is correctly carried (naturally) they look bloody fantastic, unfortunately not all Rottweilers are blessed with such beautiful tails and IMO it can ruin the look of an otherwise beautiful dog. (as I said IMO :D )
  8. Thought it was worth while putting their website here. The pet pads are sold in packs of 3. http://www.conni.com.au/shop/Conni+Critters+Pet+Pads/-2.html
  9. Not necessarily - one of my sisters and her husband paid $800 for their male Rottweiler over 20 yrs ago and that was a reduced price (mates rates) from a registered breeder. We all thought they were nuts paying that back then but that dog was rock solid in build and nature - stunning dog. That was also back in the days when mutt was a mutt and was either given away free or sold for stuff all. I am sure they were not the only ones who paid a decent price for a pup back then but going on those prices looks like the Registered Breeder has missed the boat - "accidental litters" (BYB) have gone from free/cheap to above the average Registered Breeders prices and some people seem to think that Registered Breeders are ripping them off - go figure..
  10. practice is free - but little beepers would be nice What I would like and what I can afford unfortunately are not the same thing. But aerodynamics for fuel economy, sizable berths, double lock mesh doors (just in case) built in wardrobe plus crate rack on front (just in case you need extras), rear bumper to protect when reversing with 2 spares mounted on it. Solid section at the bottom of the inner walls to prevent blankets or objects being stolen. Another storage section to allow for 2 berths being blocked off for a dog or for a bitch in season. Oh and all this on dual axle to allow for easier reversing and if you get a flat tyre not far from home you can still go home and fix the flat later. Water tank so you can have access to fresh water without carrying bottles all the time and the usual safety features that are necessary. All that at an affordable price would be lovely. ETA changes: forget about the crate rack on front if that would affect the aerodynamics, just make sure the wardrobe is a good size.
  11. I bought this dress suit for my daughter but she hates the color so thought I would see if anyone here is interested before I take it back. Garfunkle dusty pink dress suit size 10 and also a black skirt with pleats at the front small size 8. Second hand in vgc. http://a6.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-...94_720737_n.jpg http://a4.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-...5_3753366_n.jpg http://a2.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-...6_2914145_n.jpg http://a5.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-...0_4600077_n.jpg
  12. I think this is what your after http://a3.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-...87_398483_n.jpg Facebook - http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100001275034963
  13. Its also longer when collapsed - 1.3m as opposed to around 950cm for the ordinary Compact. If you want the smaller one for ease of storage, its the ordinary Compact you want. Just checked the HS website and looks like they don't have this offer in NSW/ACT - but still worth calling your nearest store and asking if they could get it in for you. Other wise keep an eye on the BCF stores for a sale. The one on sale is the regular Oztrail Compact Gazebo, I bought mine a yr ago and have been very happy with it. A friend has just bought the Deluxe Compact Gazebo and it is much better - bigger/stronger and cost more. But if you need the smaller - lighter weight gazebo you will be happy with the Compact. If you are not worried about the extra size, weight or price then I would suggest the Deluxe Compact instead of the regular Compact gazebo. I have thought about selling mine and getting the Deluxe but would be a waste of money doing it that way - so decided to keep it and replace it when I have to. By then no doubt they will have others available anyway. Oh - any your all welcome
  14. Harris Scarfe have the Oztrail Compact Gazebo on sale from Wednesday next week for one week for $129.
  15. Unfortunately dogs are being bred with weak nerves regardless of the breed standard...sadly some will still put beauty before all else....
  16. I wish dogs who are weak in nerve were removed from breeding programs regardless of their breeds.
  17. Yes - I learnt that the hard way when Pink was on crate rest. She was being toileted out the front lawn on an extender lead when a bloody cat ran out of the hedge and without thinking I grabbed the lead - nasty rope burn. I was more concerned about her having a set back than hurting my hand until I got inside and saw what it looked like. She was fine, but it took a while for my hand to come good again. Now I only use the extender for quiet areas (even though I thought I was ok on the front lawn, apparently not) or for the pugs.
  18. I have seen it before - fantastic video...very happy healthy dogs. But no one is doing poo patrol
  19. Only once if I think she may need a c section (including prog testing) which paid off, bitch had to have an em c section and was 6 days premature - was good knowing the dates were spot on. Other wise 2 or 3 matings would be plenty.
  20. I'd invite her to try it herself... Then she'll find out how "little" work is involved. Add $10 to the price for the "challenging customer service fee". If they brushed the bloody dog regularly he wouldn't need to be clipped. I'd never make it as a dog groomer because I'd not be able to resist the urge to point that out. Why DO people buy long haired dogs if they're not prepared to groom them. lol - I could touch up on people skills at times. One client really pissed me off, I was clipping her little fluffy right off due to sever matting when her 8 yo daughter saw how short it was she screamed and carried on about cutting all the hair off. I explained to her about the condition of the coat and when the mother was starting to carry on too I showed her the matted clump of hair, explaining that hair is not supposed to look like that and correct brushes and combs needed so the dog will not need to be clipped off so short again. Then she had the nerve to tell me "I have all those and heaps more" - I snapped back at her "well use them - they are no bloody good in the cupboard they have to be used to work"...not sure if I ever did theirs again... Yep - got to "love" the ungrateful sods, makes you appreciate the good clients even more. ;)
  21. Well I sure as hell will not be wishing bad thoughts to BYBers anymore - 3 out of my 4 litters have been emergency c sections (2 after hours at the em clinic including a premature litter). I just can not afford any ill thoughts on anyone ..... I am actually putting off my next litter out of fear of another em c section - my hex might be over by the end of the year - I am planning 2 litters for next yr and need as much good luck as I can get. But agree - it is very frustrating... eta: I have had a couple of calls for my Rottie male (not advertised at stud) - the bitch is in season "NOW"....at least they are registered but we didn't share the same ethics so no mating. He reminded me that the lines were perfect and I agreed - they were. There was other personal issues involved but the mating will never take place. The only way he accepted no was when I said he was xrayed but not yet scored. I have also had a few calls from people with a bitch who just want a boyfriend for her, I am as nice as I can be but they still don't like the answer NO. So I just warn them if they keep calling around they will not get such a nice knock back next time.
  22. Just googled the kennel name and found this - don't know if the details are current but worth a try. http://www.hund.ch/zuechter/zpages/z6179.htm SEKAIICHI Lisa Hoggan P.O. Box 162 Heywood 3304 Ph:03- 5527 1085 Email:[email protected] http://members.datafast.net.au/lisah/
  23. You will probably have to line the support beams/roof with bird wire so they have no where to stop and crap. http://birdsaway.com/solutions/galvanized-mesh/
  24. It's just another way to flog off puppy farm puppies...and no doubt people will think they are buying a smarter dog.
