Hi all, You can now add a litter of Swedish Vallhunds to the list. They should be due around mid May. My girl Tess decided to allow Aussie to have a mating, and then show signs that she was in season. So it wasn't the choice of partner that I would have liked but due to the fact that I had given up any hope of puppies from her I am happy I am a little worried that she doesn't swell very much when she is in season, so I am maddly stashing money away incase there is a need for a cesear. This will be my second SV litter I am a little excited :p ;) Cassie

This looks like a good place to ask this question When you send in the papers for you dog to be changed from mains to neuter. Do they still have the same number, or does their number change? Thanks Cassie

Hi, Scribble had 3 boys and 3 girls all black, tan and white She did end up having a c section, but all is well now. She has decided that she will be an excellent mother to the babies, even though she was wondering where the hell they came from. All the best to all the new babies and Mums Cassie

Scribble is keeping me waiting. She had a very restless night last night, and then refused brecky. So I waited all day and nothing... She is sleeping now but I have a feeling it will all start early in the morning. Here are some pics taken today by my friend Chrissy. Cassie Sorry to read about the lost litters...

Here are some pics of Scribble, she is very fat and very uncomfortable. Poor darling.

Alazin is also used now as it is much easier on the bitches. She was given 3 shots. day 1-2 and 8.

Just wondering if anyone has ever had a successful litter after treating their bitch for pyometra? She was treated with Alazin and antibiotics. She didn't get septic or have a high temp. I just noticed that the discharge had changed at the end of her season. It also was open pyo so not nearly as bad as closed. What are your thoughts? Cassie

Swedish Vallhunds are wonderful.

You can still cord poodle coat if you want to. It is still permissible in the show ring. Hairdo's aside, they are still remarkably similar dogs to older photos and paintings. Nice set of pricked ears on the Whippet How stunning are they, I have never herd of them. Poodles are wonderful dogs. Cassie

Swedish Vallhunds are a medium to sized breed that are not prone to HD. But "good"breeders are screening there breeding stock now.
