  1. I agree with you comment All, I reside in Victoria, but she was also shown quite a bit in NSW by her breeder/co-owner, her title was applied for there and I had to send all the challenge carts up, but they didn't have to provide Dogs NSW with challenges from NSW shows :)
  2. Argh well I enjoy showing her, I think she is Grand anyway  so will just make sure I get all the certificates now :)
  3. For her Aust Champ title, I didnt have to provide any certificates, which is why I thought there was obviously a database that records the show results and the points awarded...silly me
  4. I may have to just start over I think, she has her Aust Champ title (got at 12 months) was wanting to see how many points she has gotten since as I would consider competing for her Gr Ch. Thats almost 3 years of challenge points I will have to find as she is now 4 years old! lol  Good moral of the story, always pick up the challenge points certs Back to the drawing board, as I couldnt for the life of me remember all the shows, She has a profile on Dogzonline, but it seems a lot of her show results have been deleted I have asked Troy about this and waiting for a response.
  5. Is there any way you can find out how many points a dog I own is on? I have forgotten to pick up challenge certificates etc and I wouldnt have a clue for which club...Would Dogs Victoria and Dogs NSW (where the dog has been shown) have a list of the points ?
  6. All the best Cheeky!!!! I am sure you and Gus will have a very fun time :)
  7. Was so cute, on the Sunday she got many cheers and claps from surrounding exhibitors and laughs from the judge as she was so cute....a little crowd pleaser...of course she lapped up the attention  Definitely in the name ...
  8. Yes, well they are still very much in the awkward puppy everywhere stage  very cute. We even got asked "what breed are they?"...when we replied "German Shepherds" they commented "even with those ears" hmmmmmn gotta laugh!!
  9. Thanks Allerzeit I am super proud :) I should also add Master Leo also did well, he was awarded Best Baby of Breed :) Went with a couple of friends, who all had baby GSD's too and I must say, for all the first time in the ring, they all did super and were very well behaved babies :)
  10. I don't understand by outside benches, I went to the Syd Royal last year and the dog pavilion was accessible to the public all day, and dogs and bench signs would easily be seen :) Dogs are always on display It's a very similar set up Melb Royal :) Or am I confused? Lol
  11. Thanks evolving, she was very well handled by a friend, she really did a fantastic job with her
  12. My little baby "Kinta" GSD (LSC) at her first show got BEST BABY PUPPY IN GROUP!!!!!!!! In a very lovely baby line up :) She is only just 3 months old This is the first class in group win for the breed in Australia So proud of my little girl !!!
  13. Ffiona Erskine in Sydney is preparing some banners for some specatators, they look amazing http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/ffire-Photography/142447528848
  14. Didnt even think of that, I didn't realize it was carcas as I feed chicken fillets cooked :)
  15. Please take the dog to a vet who understands GSD's growth stages and anatomical structure :) if you let us know where you are we can point you in the right direction:)
  16. I would put him in a crate and cover the crate mostly, give him something to chew on like a pigs ear :)
  17. Vets who often are not knowledgable will diagnose a GSD with Hip Dyslasia when in fact its not at all and usually when the pup/dog has not reached maturity etc. The ONLY WAY to diagnose hip or elbow Dysplasia is by having the dog x rayed by a person that "KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE DOING" :) and then having the x rays read by a radiographer approved by the GSDCA. I would never have surgery done on a dog for "suspected" hip dysplasia......god knows how many perfectly fine dogs this has happened to Please have your brother contact the Shepherd club for more information if he is unsure :)
  18. Could you cook the chicken mince and then use the chicken mince juice to poor over the puppy dry food? I did this with mine and they loved it!
  19. Top effort for Jet,what a great girl, congratulations on your new additions!!!! Big pats to mum Jett!!!!!
  20. I had a baby with little sores under his tail, it was from mum not cleaning him properly, antibiotics, and cleaning the spot with warm water and applying betadine liquid twice a day cleared it up in no time :) Goodluck with your little one :)
  21. One word for puppy bars - AWESOME!!!! I loved mine :) Colin is brilliant :)
  22. I saw photos of your girl in the GSD thread, her weight looks fine to me, as others said, lean is best in a growing GSD. I personally wouldn't suggest long 2 hours walks at that age, her bones are still growing, usually around 9-12 months their bones are still fusing and growth plates closing, over exercise can cause issues. Free running and puppy play is plenty :) and short walks :) Food sounds good that you have her on, and splitting them Up is a great idea :) My dogs follow me everywhere when I move :)
  23. Such a long night!!! but loved seeing lots of beautiful dogs :) My girl made it through the first heat, against a very lovely American Cocker but got knocked out in the 2nd heat. I was over the moon with how my girl performed for me :) a great night to behave for me And I think I picked your girl Krist, she looked beautiful, also liked the young Golden import, who we sat next too :)
