  1. No they are 20kg Breeders Bags :) all Registered Breeders that have joined Advance have been sent out privilege cards, where they can now have Breeders Bags ordered from their advance Stockists
  2. Hi Guys Was hoping someone could help on here. Trying to source a good place to be able to purchase the Advance 20kg Breeders Bags... I am in Victoria Whilst I was in Sydney I was able to purchase a few bags and they were $90-$100 Petstock sell them for $130 Thought it was Advance was of providing the breeders with value for money etc...but the store still puts a huge mark up on the product it seems in Victoria
  3. This is my girls second litter (last one October 2011) but first litter with me. She was a brilliant mum first time around :) My first litter here I had was with a bitch that had to have her leg amputated because of cancer :-( so the girl above happily helped out with her litter, cleaned the puppies, cleaned up after the pups and played and taught them boundaries :) So I have no doubt she will excel again as she loves her puppies :) Of course the nervous thing now is as with every breeder that the puppies are all born alive and healthy :)
  4. Hahaha  don't make me scared of 9 little bundles of joy!!
  5. Hopefully Piper, now just have to hope that all the little ones arrive safely :)
  6. Ultrasound today saw at least 9 little puppies on board :) vet said he was running out of fingers, do stopped at 9
  7. What a gorgeous baby :) Iove working kelpies!!
  8. Already checked with my vet and he is more than happy to do an clearance letter for my pending litter :-)
  9. German Shepherds due around 5th November
  10. When you go to "Website Listing" and it shows all the pages you have...next to them if the pages are active is a green dot :) to "un-activate" the page you are working on you click the dot to turn it red, which means the page can no longer be viewed by the public online :)
  11. You just click on the round dot to the right of the heading you don't want visible yet and make it red instead of green and that hides the page while you work on it :)
  12. I phoned a few months back and it was $85 to read x rays
  13. If you get a vet clearance letter saying "they wont microchip early due to the health of the pups" then you can advertise without chip numbers :) you just state "Vet clearance letter for microchipping " in your advert :)
  14. I second this entirely, I lost my 2 year old to this disease in Feb this tear. Your story is close to my heart and I send all my love, thoughts and prayers to you and Emma xxxx
  15. Those hip x rays look awful sorry you are going through this Hydrotherapy, controlled exercise, diet and supplements will be beneficial to him. Hydrotherapy is less strenuous exercise but will help build muscle which is what he needs to strengthen his hindquarter :) In breeding it's not just looking at parents scores, but looking at what's behind them, what has been produced etc unfortunately a lot of people just look at the parents
  16. I just put clumped towels under the bedding and the pups had to work to get to mum :)
  17. Oh I like top left puppy and bottom right puppy
  18. Also making the Whelping box floor area sort of lumpy so they have to actually make an effort to move around and not just commando around the box
  19. I have heard that small swims in a warm bath may work with you supporting him? Not sure what others thoughts are on this....
  20. No one can give you a date....her seasons look irregular, 11 months, 7 months, 9 months....and it's been 9 months since her last season? I would expect she would come back in from now to the next 2 months?
  21. I was going to worm my bitch, she is day 7 now...should I not worm her then?
  22. Wearing a muzzle is a bit unrealistic especially as he could obviously seizure at any time, which means the dog would have to be muzzled 24/7 They didn't go in and shoot the dog to clear the way for medical staff, they shot the dog when it charged at the police officer. Can you imagine the Grief it would cause if the dog had injured a member of the public...the Officers would be scrutinized over why they hasn't reacted to the dog sooner..there damned if they do and damned if they dont
  23. I know of a similar incident that happened in my neighborhood.. An elderly man who owned 2 pitbulls, his son also lived at the property. I delivered dog food to them on a number of occassions and the dogs were sweet and loving dogs, always very social... One day the son was out and the elderly man had a fall in his front yard, the neighbor went to help but the two pitbulls were protecting their elderly owner and the neighbor was actually bittern The police and emergency services were called as was the ranger and the dogs were removed by the council using poles etc.... The elderly man was ok... But both dogs ended up being declared "Dangerous Dogs" by the council and had to comply with all the requirements of owning Declared Dangerous Dogs ....very sad considering they were on their own property and just protecting their frail and injured owner....but a better outcome than the above scenario I do not see the officer had any real choice, the dog may have just been rushing and may not have been in to cause harm to the officer...but he was not to know...a split second decision...a terrible situation for all involved...
  24. It doesn't mention that any of the dogs had injuries, surely if there had been a fight, there would be badly injured or deceased dogs and the news would make some mention of it.... Poor young girl
