Quote: "Buy a decent set of ear plugs and ignore all other noises from her. If she knows by making noise she gets attention, then guess what? She'll continue to do it." Thats why I can't sleep at night the neighborhood's dogs barks and whine like crazy while their owner are fast asleep with their plugs!! Arrgh

A good sturdy kennel is what I got for my pup, I wanted him to be an inside dog but he prefer being outside!! So guess what he sleep on my husband shoe outside and never in his kennel, he refuses to go in in!! At least we have a huge double garage to his disposition and the house if he changes his mind lol

Should I Shave His Butt's Hair Or Is This Not Recommended?
Mu-Shu replied to Mu-Shu's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
Thanks for the great advise, I'll check for sure, and I'll also see what my vet recommend for them. -
Clean your floor using white vinegar which WILL remove ANY remaining smell, and your pup wont be able to find that spot.

Should I Shave His Butt's Hair Or Is This Not Recommended?

Yes, I must have misunderstood at the time:) -
Move the paper outside put it on the ground outside where you want him to do his wees and poohs and see what happens(don't leave any inside)...My guess is that if you leave paper at the same spot every night, that you are putting him into the habit of doing is business there at night.

8 Week Old Golden Retriever - Crate Training
Mu-Shu replied to hollythegoldenretriever's topic in Puppy Chat
Hi, great looking pup Could you be more specific? Please :D -
I'm trying Supercoat puppy and mix it with Nature's Gift, they both got a good score from the chart, my pup loves it and he doesn't need much at all. I'm yet to introduce some raw bones but I'm not sure which type to buy, as I owned a Shih Tzu..(I read that their theet can be a problem that soft/raw food wasn't the best thing for them, can annyone shed light from experience for me?) Thanks! PS. hope you don't mind me asking on your thread if you do give me a yell;)

You guys must have a different pet mince that we find around here!! I stay miles away from it, it looks like carp:-p(only fat and cartilage type thingy) I have seen at the butcher...ewwww :|

Thanks to all your replies I'll not leave any food out at night, since I do this, he poohs before I wake up in the morning ...also I use to leave him in our garage(which we have transform into a study area), would it be best if he was refine to a much smaller room, like the laundry? I think that this way he will probably wake me if he has to go??
-
How do you actually express them and when? Mu-Shu is 8 weeks old and a male
-
No he isn't crate trained. We have a gate that block access to all other room of the house.(he is in the garage that we have transform into a 'study room', where we are most of the time). So this is where he sleeps through the night. The collar with a bell is a great idea, as he is a very quiet pup. Will give that a try, lets hope I'll hear it!

Thanks for your reply, I have so far left him with his food and water, he only does a couple small wees while I'm asleep, but wish that he would let me know so I could take him out even if its 3am )
