I think a Ridgie is the wrong breed for normal obediance because they hate the repetition, might look into Schutzhund myself. I'm going to the K9 force seminar in November up here because Monster is still awful on lead and at recall and not getting better (he's 2 now and still has puppy brain). I had great success with the prong but he grew out of it then my ex & I split up and I didn't have him for 6 months - so now he's back to square one. I'll be asking Steve for some more links to start again. It was the only time I felt completely comfortable walking him and Meisha at the same time because I knew he couldn't use his body weight against the collar like he does with others. No you don't need one anymore - you just drive through and can then go to their website (www.govia.com.au) and it gives you options on how to pay - I think you have 3 days to pay before they send you a bill with an extra charge???

He's probably better behaved than Daisy I can guarantee he'll be better behaved than Bakari if I come - especially if Daisy is there

Bakari is so fussy! He wont eat raw carrot but he'll eat it cooked, wont eat peas unless they are cooked, wont touch brocolli or cauliflower, wont eat ANY kind of fruit. Isn't a big fan of pork, wont eat lamb unless I've browned it a bit first, wont eat Kangaroo - only beef and chicken, wont touch any kind of offal. Nearly every other ridgy person that shows uses cheerios/frankfurts for bait - he spits them out. Loves mashed potato but not a fan of roast potato. My ridgeback is broken! Meisha wont eat fruit either, but everything else is fair game...

So sorry to hear this babe... I know what she meant to you and I know how much of a mess it would be if it were one of mine. Hope you find out what happened. Give Boss a cuddle for me. Big hugs to you! Hope Steve is ok as well.

Ahhh glad I'm not the only one! I was thinking the same thing Gorgeous dog Miss Monster Awww my poor puppy always gets picked on for that.... His nickname isn't Big Balls Magee for nothing though

Today at the EKKA!

Tough day at the Ekka.... 2 years 1 month old (we sucked so don't bother asking) ;) This is how he fell asleep for 2 hours - with lots of Awww's from the public and comments like "that's the biggest lap dog I've ever seen"
