I didn't look too hard but thank you both for your replies. I tend to like the idea, saving bitch from having two litters. Probably works better for those breeeds that tends to ahve big litters I'll say. :-)

Had a facebook photo come up that Advance has a DNA kit they sell. The question I have and tried to find: Is it allowed to use two sires for one litter in Australia? Did read about this a long time ago but never followed what the rulings are, and couldn't find anything in the code of ethics Just curioius.

Hi I have a owner who comes with her dog for grooming about every 2 month. 2 months ago I found a couple of flea bites and informed the owner later on. She insists she is using preventative. Yesterday she was back again and this time I found a flea walking along on dogs belly and again told the owner. She was absolutley taken aback as she is using treatment and the dog is also an inside dog. I then asked what she uses and it is Sentinel. Can someone tell me how this product works as to me it doesn't seem to do the flea job. I myself use at odd times......can't even remember the name, yes Advantage, just for as a preventative flea treatment. Touch wood, I have not had any flea outbreak ever in my breeding time. I have for the last two years used teh heartworm injection on my dogs and they seem OK on it. It has at times worried me how it can affect the dogs long term etc. and wonder if anyone here has some experience good and bad about it. At this stage have not seen anything negative more than the cost of injection! This is a cross post from Breeders Forum as it was suggested I go here because it might be more appropriate.

I wouldn't be to worried with a murmur. It is the heart growing a bit uneven, that was what I was told by a cardio specialist 15 years ago. My daughter has it and we were told it will get better with age, she is 17! Today she can get a slight murmur when she has a cold or the flu but otherwise nothing wrong with her. I am just comparing humans with dogs here but I suppose it is a bit similar???

hi, I make the martingale and the limited slip out of webbing and wrap in satin. There is some choice of trims not all are up on site but you can pick your own too. At the moment I am doing orders on Poodle collars for show poodles(not on site as yet but will be later on) Hoping to have these collars and accessories available in WA's Poodle National 2009. I make collars with tassels (mostly home made), swarovski crystals and beads. My latest was an Arabian show halter with beads and tassels which I sold on eBay for fun, never thought it was going to sell but managed quite well with the profit in the end. I sell some collars on eBay too. The site is still building up but collars will change with time. Orders and requests are always welcome.
