So sorry to hear this... we have lost a few this way even though I stay with them every night. The problem is that if they are squashed there are no sounds for you to jump up to and check. I lost my one and only precious tan and white girl through being squashed by her mum, her sister was under with her and she was fine............ :-( I was sitting next to the whelping box when one was squashed, so yon just never know.

Ummmmm our pick of the litter was unfortunately the first to escape. :D :D :D Now known to go over fences in single bound. Evil cow but I love her. :) :)

Woo Hoo!!! Lucky me!!! I am looking forward to these shows as they will be last ones that I am doing for a few months!!! And to win the guessing competition is just an added bonus!!!! ( I never seem to win anything (raffles etc), it seems the tide may be turning!) I am a little excited about winning!!! Thank you to LKC, I am very much looking forward to these shows as well as presenting myself to the President on Friday the 12th to claim my prize! What a bonus for all exhibitors to have Breed numbers listed by Tuesday 2nd August. This I really like and would like to see other Victorian Clubs post this information about breed numbers. I know some of the NSW clubs do this and it is great to know your breed numbers before hand. A big thank you To Lilydale Kennel Club for putting on the show and giving us all a great panel of judges to show under!!!! I second all that stolz. :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

No doubt I would have met you out the back when toileting her if she was not using the pen, she can take anything from 15 - 30 mins to toilet her on lead or she will get it done within minutes in the pen. Other pug owners use it too - I'm surprised that you haven't seen at least one pug in it I plan on giving her a couple of months off from the ring but when we go back you will see the next pen padlocked around a tree . I have seen pugs in it. Did not realize it was yours until this thread.

6 months is a good age. Yes larger dogs do need the hormones to develop properly but you have to have responsible owners.

Alyosha that photo is sooooooooooooooooooooooo cute little Zois. Until I joined DOL I did not realize that all pups virtually look the same born and as they grow they start to look like the finished product.

Sure is very exciting, I just can't wait, considering what I've had to go through to get to this point, but it's all been worth it. Yes, there have been 3 very small litters registered already by the first person that imported the breed into Australia & that is all so far. Good luck with the x-ray MM, we'll be doing the same thing a week out. Nice to know numbers, and I'm pretty sure our girl has more than 6 hiding in there. ;) Attached is one of Inga's ultrasound shots showing 5 puppies on the screen!
