Physically once the wound has healed it has healed. If it was going to rupture next time it would do 4 months later or 2 years later. Scar tissue would cause more problems because it would not stretch. I suggest talk to a repo vet not just an ordinary one.

There is natural gap in the abdominal wall where the blood vessels come through to the placenta. The blood vessels shrivel up and the gap closes. This does not always happen and a hernia forms most times it fixes itself but sometimes does not. It does not cause any problems unless excessively large which is unlikely. Keep the girl its not a problem. If we threw out all the humans with hernia the human race would be very small.

Both the old and new forms required a signature from a vet or an authorised collector if you wanted certified results. The lot I had previous to this lot did not requirea signature which I thought funny. They have also jsut rearranged the layout of the current batch a bit.

I use a heated whelping box which has cool areas. Have also used a heat pad at one end of a dog bed. I would not use lamps as I have had one explode over me and a human baby.
