  2. Hold the muzzle firmly and say in a firm voice no biting. Hold until he squirms. Keep doing this. This will definetly improve in about 3 days. But you must keep it up. It took about 2 weeks for Zarah our White Shepherd to stop copmpletly. I started at 9 weeks. EFTypos.

  4. As a breeder I am more than happy to take young pups back for holidays. I would definetly not advise going to such a holiday destination at this point. If you want to know about parvo. Go to Show Ring and read about Hef. http://www.dolforums.com.au/index.php?showtopic=152943

  7. Read my post. To add to what Jed states. Hernias are caused because of nature. There is a natural hole in the abdominal wall to allow the blood vessels to go in to the pup from the placenta. Same as human babies. When the cord is cut the blood vessels shrivel up and the hole closes. Sometimes the hole is bigger than is needed and hence the fat protudes into the space.
  8. Jules my first Cav had one on her tail and it was getting bigger so the vet removed it. Benign but unfortuatley she chewed her dressings and swelled the bandage and this cut off her circulation and the tail died so had to be removed. No problems but had to wag her whole back.

  10. Classic case of cost shifting.
  11. A resonsible breeder should be microchipping when the pup is vacinated. I know most state laws differ but the bottom line is that the dog should be chipped. If the breeder is not doing it. First port of call is the Vet for microchipping.
