Ellie pups are just gorgeous and she is such a good Mum. It was a pleasure to assist her.

Please check the arrival date as its bit hard to work out from "arrived last night" whether that means before or after midnight. :)

Zarah came in with one I had never seen the other day. Split so now in the bin. They can be lost for weeks then suddenly a raft of them appear. :p ;)

I would not agree because of the mixes you do not know how the tempermermets will turn out down the track.

We have not done a lot of "big" winning. But Ruby got a fold up chair for Aus bred of group when she got her first challenge points. Slightly The other night we had our Cav members comp. I was forced to go in novice handlers to give my sister some competition. I was not prepared and had on my work sandles, half way around I thought why is my shoe slipping looked down and it had broken. Kicked it off. This reminded me of 7 years ago when I went to same members comp. OH was in intensive care following a brain anuerysm, we had seen him and went to the comp in the evening. While in the ring my mobile rang and I had to answer it as it was the hospital, then the elastic on my knickers broke. So here I am attempting to handle a dog, on the mobile hanging on to the knickers and get out of the ring. ;) Our "pet" won a spoon rest which was perfect colour match for the caravan theme.

Why Don't People Pick Up After Their Dogs At Shows?
Bilbo Baggins replied to TessnSean's topic in General Dog Discussion
Our two show boys have a teena night pad cut in 3, in the band. It does not stop them cocking just collects it. Whereas Rev our boy is toilet trained and goes outside to wee/cock. Even the influence of his father when visiting has not caused him to cock inside and he definetly does not do it in the wrong places at shows. -
Aaawww looking good. :)

Time for more pics. ;) :) I am going to see them tonight.

Why Don't People Pick Up After Their Dogs At Shows?

Yes, I did see the suggestions - thanks for those. I promise I that if I use tyres in future they will be my own tyres . As long as Rebanne isn't in the carpark with a bucket of water. ETA: I should point out that I now use a belly band (and have for a few months). So he thinks he is lifting his leg but it all goes into the band. I have had many show people tell me this is the wrong thing to do as well (because it is cruel was one reason, another said he should be allowed to wee normally - sometimes one just cant win). He has lifted his leg from a very early age (10 weeks I think). Having not had a show dog before, I didnt know it would be convenient to teach him to squat. If you see a strange looking dog wearing a crocheted snood and a tartan belly band, that is us People who are against belly bands can take a long walk off a short cliff. The 2 boys we show have never been house trained and will pee on their own bedding. Since we we have been belly banding them life is much more pleasant. -
