Oh the gundogs in "Sense & Sensibility" are my highlight tonight
-
Yes I do - but it's been ages since I read it, I can bring it Saturday if you're trialling and you'd like to take a look. Oh yes please Jess Will be one of those days as several people want to look at the Chilly Buddy coats I bought too.

Ruptured Cruciate Ligaments And Cat Flu....
The Spotted Devil replied to Chequeredblackdog's topic in General Dog Discussion
Re the kitty - try to get some powdered L-lysine. Musashi is a good brand. One pinch twice a day. It helps stop the flu virus replicating. Very nasty disease for baby kittens - my foster lost an eye but survived to give the world hell Still a foster kitten after 2 years ;) -
My dogs think they have me VERY well trained. Do a bit of prancy heel work? Mum gives us chicken. Retrieve anything, anywhere, anytime? Mum gives us cheese. Sail over a few jumps? Mum shovels treats down out throat. Spend a fun day out at a trial? We get a chicken frame for dinner. Poor Mum just doesn't understand how easy she is to manipulate

Not exactly eastern but on the way to the airport - I was very happy with Cottage Kennels in Plenty -
Em was doing her classic submissive tummy play to a working BC puppy at training who was seriously freaked out Same puppy plays like a wild thing with other BCs.
-
Little Em bites Ziggy until he relents and plays with her. Lots of play bowing, zoomies and wrestling on hind legs. With every other dog she plays like a classic working Springer.....very submissive and plays on her tummy. She doesn't really 'get' the herding breeds but does her best to communicate. Mostly she'd rather work though

BB - the coats will definitely be coming - a few people have asked if they can check the sizes for their dogs too! See you then

This is so me!!!! Fortunately I picked up a bit of extra casual work so I feel better about it now :D
-
I've been away for a few days - long driving spells, hard physical work, not much sleep and marking exam papers in my spare time. Dropped the work car off in the city and caught the train home with a heap of awkward, heavy luggage. No lunch so I was feeling pretty exhausted by 5pm. Mr TSD picked me up from the station but he brought the dogs along to welcome me home Suddenly I had energy to burn when those madly wagging bodies knocked me down in joy!!! One minute I was feeling tired and a little sorry for myself and the next I was asking Mr TSD to drop us at the park whilst he picked up a few things from the shops. Dogs ran around like mad things. Best. Day.

Sorry BB - agility trial at Bulla on Saturday. Will definitely update here though. They are seriously light. With the silver colour the dogs look like super heroes with capes

Congratulations bedazzledx2 Or should I say.....bedazzledx2 UD :D -
I love the working Springers in the BBC mini-series of Pride & Prejudice. Add Mr Darcy and it doesn't get any more perfect
-
Thanks megan - I didn't see those! 2 stick in the ground poles and a couple of jump cups would make an easy jump! Wouldn't even have to bother with connectors - I might email and check that.

My last free shipping effort just arrived - 2 x chilly buddy coats and wet weather gear for me. Very happy with it all Doing a little more research into equipment before I finalise this order!
-
My Chilly Buddy coats have arrived - they are extremely light - looked small but the measurements I took were right and the coats fit really well. Looking forward to using them soon!
-
I've just ordered a couple of Chilly Buddy coats after a rave review in this thread. Will let you know when they arrive!
