  1. Hi, I'll be there on Sunday with my Ridgie if you still need help. Just let me know and I'll make sure I'm there for the start.
  2. I see a Ridgeback head there - who's that?
  3. Do you need particular breeds? I have a Rhodesian Ridgeback that I'll be showing on Sunday.
  4. Mine took her babble ball into the car one day. Well, it was driving me nuts so I stuck it into my handbag to keep it still. Only problem was that I forgot about it when I popped into the shops - was standing at the checkouts in Target when it decided to go off I just stood there as if I couldn't hear it and knew nothing about it
  5. When is your course Wazzat? I have a large collapsible wire crate here that would hold two medium dogs, you could borrow it for the day if it's one day next week that you need it? It's 72cmW x 125cmL x 80cmH I'm using it for my puppy at present but am only working part time next week so can probably get away without it for a day. I've got a large wire crate as well - 107cm long if you wanted an extra!
  6. Are they the saratoga ones - white with the trim? I purchased 2 of these a couple of years ago for my guys. They can be used either wet or dry. Dry they just reflect the heat. I usually wet mine down. They are actually very light. There's no problem with the drying out, you will probably actually find that you need to keep wetting them down when they are on the dog. I usually dunk them into a bucket of water, and often use a spray bottle to keep them damp. They do work well though. I have a ridgeback and a black Kelpie X.
  7. I was recently in Europe and stayed with someone with dogs. The dog went in the shops, the restaurants, on the tube and on the ferry in venice! It was great : :D Do mean cctv cameras? I've never really lived in the big cities where these are now omnipresent, so haven't had that feeling of big brother watching me all the time However I've yet to go to a shop in the UK where they routinely search bags as you leave ps not really having a dig, I'm loving it here so far I love how in the UK you can (apparently?) take your dogs into most shops, just not food shops. So it is not strange to take your dog into the bank, the post office, on the train (tuuube?!), bus, etc. Wish we were a country that loved our dogs more!
  8. I also thought that it mean artificial insemination, actually I'm pretty sure it does. My boy has AI after his name as does all of his littler brother and sisters. I owuld give Dogswest a call as they must have it wrong in their database.
  9. The Welcome Inn is where everyone stays in Bunbury.
  10. I'd be very interested if you can get one through Gosnells. I really want another dog but they told me that I can't apply! Could you maybe PM me if you think that you could get one through. Washa Thanks J, unfortunately this is 'normal' behaviour for him thanks for another recommendation too and don't tempt me with puppies, that's very bad Anyway I'm up to my 2 dog limit for Perth Its ok you can get three just apply! ( I know someone who has written up that many three dogs apps and never failed!! lol) Your kids look so healthy and happy! Would your friend get it through City of Gosnells? YEP I get them all through all over have 100% sucess so far! There is always appeals to Minister if all else fails!!
  11. She isn't a chiropractor, but Liz Frank is excellent for joint/muscle problems. She does Myofascial pain stuff and works out of Millpoint Vet Clinic. Washa
  12. Oops, thanks for pointing that out I had worked it out at per 10kg - I have a 45kg dog so would need 4.5ml. Do you only give once, 3 days befre a show, or the 3 days leading up to a show? I got some from the shop at Canine. Washa
  13. thanks, thought it needed a bit of a revamp!
  14. Rat, If I order any of the Troys Behave I'll let you know where I get it from. Haven't decided whether to enter him or not.... just dont know.. cant make up my mind. Do you know he is old enough for the Veterans Class now Yeah, keep the beds in mind, I'm 5 mins from Canine, you and Kate are very welcome any time. However, I dont cook! If you guys want yummy food then you'll have to do it washa
  15. There were a couple of places, just do a google search. Yes, still doing DWD. There's a comp on the night before the specialy show, dont know when you're planning on coming down. There's a couple of spare beds at my place if you need them. Not sure if I'll be entered but if I do it will probably be with Sasha and not Bosley. DWD is also on at the Royal this year on the same day as the Ridgies. Washa
  16. Yeah, thought I Might try it. I guess the 30ml tube may be the way to start then if it works get bigger. Just did a search on the web and you can get 250ml for about $40-50 from the East. Washa Yep, just the small one to begin with. Im giving her 3.5ml per day with her dinner. Will see how she goes with the whole tube, seeing as she has such high anxiety. I suppose depending on what sort of issues the dog has will depend on when you administer it. I think Wazat is only giving it to her dogs before a show. So that would last alot longer. Are you thinking of giving it to your boy?? Rat
  17. Hi Rat, have you just been getting the 30ml tube? They say dogs 1ml per kg. With a 45kg dog it will only last 6 days! I am assuming that you use it every day?
  18. Does anyone know where to get the Troys Behave Paste in Perth?
  19. "behave paste" - what's this? I need some for one of mine! Washa
  20. Hi if not to late could I please get 4 medium and 2 small. thanks Wendy
  21. The offer is only for the small bags (3kg or 4kg)
  22. Yep, group 5 Saturday and Sunday, a new baby fluffy (which still isn't mine)! Am only showing Bosley on Monday night but only if it doesn't clash with Dancing (which starts at 8pm, probably about the time he will be due in the ring!). Haven't shown him for ages now, not since Bunbury, he is in one of the days this weekend. He is also in Obedience at the Classic, sitting on 2 passes at the moment so fingers crossed Washa
  23. I'll be there Friday night to watch Group 4, Saturday night for Obedience and showing, Sunday night for showing, and Monday for showing and DWD. Praying that we can do both on Monday night and there isn't a clash. Yep, it's Bosley doing Canine Freestyle :-) That is if we ever get the tricks in time Washa
  24. Yep, that's the one, the title is: Rules for the conduct of Obedience Trials - (effective 1 January 2009)
