Sorry for not updating for so long but Spice is doing well. Her BSL is still ranging from 16-29 with no known explanation. She has been in Hospital few times since my last post and they cannot figure it out either. This dog is so Happy, energenic and her insulin has been increased to 16units twice daily and still no change...?????? I will post a couple of pics to show you what a happy girl she is.......cheers again and I will let you know the date she will feature on Animal Emergency.

I am sad to announce that a dear DOL member Sumosmum has lost her Darling Daisy on 19/04/08 who gave 17 years of Love and companionship to her family. I had the Pleasure of meeting Daisy and she was such a darling girl. I know that she will be missed and will be waiting at the Bridge for Sumosmum Please send a message to Sumosmum as she is really feeling it at this very sad time and I know all DOL members are so supportive at times like this. Spice is doing really well she now weighs 28.6kg and her BSL is still a little eratic but is one Happy Girl.. We went to Kepala on the 13th and she had a ball with all the other dogs. At the end of the day she was a bit tired......LOL Spice has been Microchipped and Surprise Surprise she has come into season a couple of weeks ago so will be desexed when the vet thinks her BSL is stable enough for the op. The Vets all thought she had been desexed because of a scar on her tummy but it may have been from a Hernia op when she was young. Anyway I will keep you updated with the Animal Emergency Show which should be in about 4 weeks from sunday If I hear the exact date I will POST immediately Cheers and thanks for you kind thoughts and support for Spice.

Love your posts about Sophie, and get a smile too when I hear about her rolling in the grass and doing doggy things like she should..... When you said she goes out the door without a second thought for the other dogs it made me laugh she probably comes home and whispers to the others...........LOL I know when I take Spice out the Cavs get upset too as I am sure she tells them about her adventures. Keep up your fantastic work and I also check in here daily for updates.

:D Spice was Microchipped at 4 Paws and More today and guess what she weighs 28.1kg so today is exactly 3 months since she was found weighing 16.4kg. here is a small clip of her playing with BB's Cav Will who is 11 years young.....

I have great news regarding Spice's BSL it has been between 12 and 12.9 for two days now..........woohooooo much better than 18-28 like it was.....fingers crossed that it has finally stabilized........... I am going to get her weighed today or tomorrow.....so I think that the weight gain and good nutrition has done the trick for her........she is sooooo lively.
