:D This might sound strange BUT Facebook has been credited with all sorts of Captures recently. I am sure there are enough of us living in Melbourne to share this and help put these people in the SHAME position of being recognised and caught through Internet detection. :)

A yeast infection in ears - the smell reminds me of Corn Chips.....but a bit off and also dogs can get a yeast infection in their paws too....Apple cider vinegar 1 part to 10 parts water kills it off.

Do Pounds Contact Microchiped Dogs Owners ?
Kadbury replied to Kadbury's topic in General Dog Discussion
I agree with hating the word POUND and I agree with your comments "Just because one pound doesn't do it please don't tar the hard working, animal loving guys and gals in others with the same brush!! The staff at this facility Love dogs and cats and it is the cleanest facility I have ever visited.....but this thing with the Chips has to be followed up and sorted. I hope to have some more news tomorrow and hope to put a Happy end to this Topic....cheers -

Do Pounds Contact Microchiped Dogs Owners ?
Kadbury replied to Kadbury's topic in General Dog Discussion
Dogs listed on this site have chip numbers displayed, but unless your registered with CAR's you have no access to the details of the owners. I have had dealings with this Pound in the past (Rescue) the Staff are Fantastic Caring and dogs are kept in clean kennels etc. So I wonder if it it a Local Laws thing that they are following -
Do Pounds Contact Microchiped Dogs Owners ?
Kadbury replied to Kadbury's topic in General Dog Discussion
It was the Pound who made the statement..... -
I have just had a Jaw dropping moment with a Local Pound. Was checking up on a small dog Listed and had contacted the Breed Rescue. I called in at the Pound this morning and put a Rescue hold on the dog. Rescue Lady then rang as it showed that the dog was chipped, "NO WE DON'T MAKE CONTACT WITH CHIPPED DOGS OWNERS" it is up to the owner to contact us...................... This pound has a Beagle, Blood Hound 3 Cavaliers and many more who are also chipped. I was always of the impression that the Microchip was a Safety Net for Animals who may become Lost, Stolen or Injured.

My Dog Ate A Pack Of Mars Pods Chocolate
Kadbury replied to happie's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
Glad your dogs are OK after eating the chocolate. Just a little tip if you ever have a situation where your dog eats something that is toxic.....immediately put two teaspoons of salt directly into their mouth and this will induce vomiting. I had occasion to do this with my Cavalier and had only heard about the salt inducing vomiting days before Kiri ate an Easter Egg. Salt went in......Choc came out, very quick reaction. ;) -
 Just adding a reply as it is late and I am probably the only on reading this. Have you tried veg and cooked rice with maybe a tin of sardines......just a thought as sardines are smelly hope someone else comes along soon with some more helpfull advice. Look forward to hearing all about the new bubs and especially pics.....cheers
