  2. for a safe and trouble free whelping.
  3. I heard the other day that at schools the kids say "Peas and Gravy" instead of Sexy Lady :D That pic is sooooo funny.
  4. Stunning.....love the cat, is it a Birman ? :D
  5. Kepala - My Brother has always left his elderly Cavaliers her and his dogs love going there. I have attended many DOL Dog meet and greet days there and the Owners/Staff are amazing.. http://www.kepala.com.au/
  6. Here is the Vebo one on special......and it is 23kg.. http://shop.vebopet.com.au/store/2-berth-aluminium-pet-dog-show-trolley-crate.html
  7. Not a show person BUT I would definately be swayed by the weight of the folded trolley for lifting in and out of a car. Vebo trolley says 23kg without wheels.
  8. The nailpolish is a new one to me on their backs.......But I bet it is much easier than painting a nail or two with different colours as I have done with Cavaliers..... They all look so fat and healthy.......awww
  9. I have no comment to make except I love them all........I wish I had the camera/knowledge to take such great pics.
  10. Gee that's dry - do you have to feed them as well as grazing ? And it is not even summer yet.
  11. How many dogs ? = what about those clear plastic shoe boxes with the name of each dog on the front. :D
  12. Found it and I am sooooo pleased with myself....lol http://www.dolforums.com.au/topic/242303-show-ribbons/page__p__5978931__fromsearch__1#entry5978931
  13. :D there was a thread recently about how to display ribbons......I will see if I can find it for you. Some amazing ways - very inventive :)
  14. Congrats Choc-Bordercollie looking forward to little Chocolate drops. Andisa....your babies are just adorable. Will they be the same colouring as the Mum ? I am soooooo puppy deprived and need a puppy fix.....must call in on Bilbo Baggins over the weekend :D
  15. IMHO leave it as is.....Freddie is just adorable. I think this is a Greeting Card in the making.....now for a few captions. :D
  16. +1 My Cavalier had a CS with her first litter and with the second she had the drop to 36.5 on day 62 from first mating - took her to the vet at 9am, he said that if she hadn't started showing signs for delivery bring her back at 4.pm. Well Kyra must have heard him because she started contracting on the way home (5min Drive) and delivered 4 healthy pups with no problems at all. I think that this is such a stressful time for all breeders - The fact that her lines, apart from Kinta have whelped on there own would be very reassuring to me. Happy Whelping Vibes being sent your way.
  17. Please give Cooper a Big Hug, I hope all goes well for him and please take care of yourself at this stressful time.
  18. Tama = Boy Maori Language My Beautiful boy lived to 19 years. What type of dog is the Name for ?? Might just influence the name :D
  19. This is Muffin. I talked her owner into going to a Registered Breeder (Found the Breeder and took her to choose her pup) rather than a Pet Shop.......that was 11 years ago and I am Offiially the Godmother. Muffin is one spoilt little girl who has Birthday/Christmas portraits taken. :D
  20. Baylee has three ears and two bodies.  Grumpette your dogs are adorable.......I found some video of three of them at the gate at Kepala from 2008/9.....so adorable.....I will hunt it out and put it up on youtube for you. :)
  21. Pounds often have no idea about less common breeds and most of the general public would not be able to recognise a true pedigree purebred in most breeds. When I worked for the AWL where we only took 3 purebred surrenders in the 6 months I was there, the pound brought out a dog that had an ear tattoo they could'nt trace. They decided to check with us before he was pts as an unclaimed stray. The boss had a look and said they couldn't decide if it was an Elkhound or a Deerhound , which are nothing alike. She asked me to have a look and the dog in question was a purebred hunting pack registered Foxhound that I tracked to a hunt club in Vic. They didn't want him back but it turned out he was being kept locally as a pet by people who found him and had rung in a lost dog notification for a Beagle cross. They were only reunited with him by accident when they came looking for a replacement dog and found him in our kennels. Your story made my eyes leak......My Boy had been handed in because he jumped fences......never did it at my house BUT he was allowed inside and slept on our Bed :)
  22. Happy to hear Nan got her best friend back. I would never be able to work in a Pound either BUT I have the utmost respect for all who do. I got a dog from a Pound 35 years ago and was told he was a cross between a Dalmation and an Irish Setter....which was fine by me he was about a year old at the time. When I took him to be desexed the Vet told me he was a Pure English Setter. Tama live to 19 years and was an amazing dog. Knowing what I know now I would have known back then that he was not a cross.
  23. Goldielover the pups are just adorable.....I with I could smell them :D Evolving - looking forward to seeing the puppies....she is looking rather round. :)
  24. Oh Gosh at the look on the middle dogs face..... Not sure what the one on the end is.......do u have a normal one of him
