I Need To Choose A Photo, But I Have 2 ...help!
Kadbury replied to redangel's topic in Photos, Photos, Photos
The first one IMO because it is cheeky, blue eyes are a delight and it is a nice close up shot. -
I was bitten on the finger by a dog, just a small nick but I ended up in Hospital having surgery three days in a row - a picc line inserted to deliver the antibiotics was an inpatient, then hospital in the home for 6 weeks....followed by 2 months of hand therapy to get the hand working again.

I would also contact the breeder to get her advice on the smell - did you contact them re the dogs ears and eyes when he arrived ???
-
:D We need pics pleeeeeeeeeeeeze ;) Just to make sure you are not fibbing about how cute they are ;) Dotty Dogs are just soooooo cute

I am "THE FRIEND" so I will be there as well. ;)

Have you read the packet contents to see if there are any warning symptoms - I would also be a bit worried if they are both not their usual self this morning.. having said that I have never used the product so I am sure there will be someone dropping in soon who may have some advice for you

I think if you contact the Local Paper, ask for a Journalist to cover your Story, they should come and do an Interview maybe with pics of your dogs. I have previously done this with my local paper (not about dogs) they either came out or did a phone interview. Good luck with it and I hope you will soon be posting about your story in the Paper..

Hope he is found soon

Many years ago (35 years) a similar thing happened close to where I lived and the dog was a JRT I was very surprised at the time because the dog was small, I assumed that anything like this would have to be a large breed.

So sad, but it is not the first time or probably the last we will hear something like this. Another little angel in Heaven.

Forgot to add that I had a Burmese Cat stolen in a similar way...... Lady came to my door asking me if I had seeb her male Burmese which was missing, I explained that mine was a desexed female. Didn't think much more about it but my Girl went missing from my yard three days later. My house had a back lane behind and the cat only played in the yard.....
-
I would also report it to Police so that if he does return you can ring and don't have to go through all the details while you wait. Do no open the door to him and if you see him near your house again ring the Police.

;) A friend bathed and groomed her dogs at my house recently Using I.O.D shampoo and I thought the same thing about how it smelt......the dogs coats were so shiny Ummm might have to invite her back and steal some. Back in the 50's we used Timid Joe Dog Soap on the dogs and us It was a tar based shampoo and made your hair smell nice and also shine....so I am thinking IOD should be fine on humans too.

"After a few back and forths to the vet (1 1/2 hours away!) we had three babies delivered by c-section today - two boys and one girl. We'd decided a while back if she passed her due date we'd err on the side of caution, and while I thought she was going to have them naturally last night, it just didn't happen. So somewhat stressful, but not as bad as I feared, with Emmi taking to her pups immediately, and them feeding well - probably better than any of my previous litters. She is being a trifle obsessed with the cleaning through, so I'm having to watch that closely." Congratulations Armahani kiss the bubs for us.
