Poor little Irish........I think her name should be changed to something with a more Magical twist as she certainly works her magic to escape. Hopefully you will finally catch her one day. You are all to keep trying for soooooo long. -

3 Labradors And 2 Beagles In Morwell Pound
Kadbury replied to Kadbury's topic in Dog Rescue (General Rescue Discussion)
Thanks Spyke88 I have seen a lot of the dogs from there go to Save A Dog Scheme but just thought that breed specific might want to know as well. Two months ago there was a dog there which I contacted Breeders in the surrounding area and found a Breeder who knew where this dog came from just by seeing the pics.....He was purchased from the Pound by her - happy ending. -
I have been looking at the local Pound Website and have noticed once again there are Labrador and Beagle dogs in there. I am heading away on holidays for 2 weeks and don't have the time to chase up Rescue as I have done in the past. Please if you have contacts for Breed Rescue can you help out.....cheers http://www.latrobe.vic.gov.au/impound/Default.aspx?PageNumber=1

Ideas To Make Sally Eat Her New Black Hawk
Kadbury replied to sallyandtex's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
Just wondering if you soak the kibble - add her meat to it and mix it up. Try less and less water until the kibble is harder until she might get used to the new texture... -

Gosh I saw a pic of a guard type thing.....I think it was Dxenion who's dog featured in the Advertising. I am sure she wouldn't mind if you pm'd her. This is the type of product that I should have put in my favs. -

What a great idea the umbrella is....it would frighten off the approaching dog and also protect the smaller pup.....places a pop up umbrella in my To Buy List....Thanks Lavendergirl. ;) Please think about what effect the pop-up umbrella would have on your own dog as well, Kadbury I'm very wary of shouting loudly at any stray/loose dog if I am out walking with my cattledog/kelpie-cross who's a real softie, because I realised that she thought I was shouting at her (how was she to know the difference?) when another dog approached, and she became really frightened at any perceived confrontation...placing myself in front of her was a really good option for her. I think I would be testing it on my dog first ;) Nothing like having a Cavalier Flying up your leg if it too was frightened by the Umbrella popping open......but thanks for the warning :D

Do You Need To Be So Precious? Doggie

 I had a Peke who had my Mum rush her off to the vet yelping like mad, only to be told by the Vet she had possibly hit her funny bone, elbow and because Mum made such a fuss she continued to play on it. Ming would do the same thing when we would say "Awwww how is your poor sore leg and she would lay down and look soooooo sad..." Another great actress. ;)
