We have recently paid to have the dog, cat and bird fed whilst we were away. I think it was much better for the animals to stay in their own home turf. :)

Hydrogen Peroxide For Vomitting
Kadbury replied to Allerzeit's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
2 tsp of salt on his tongue will make him vomit. I learned this on here a couple of years ago around Easter time as well. Dogs (especially Cavaliers) will hunt out Chocolate and of course my Cav did so armed with the salt she threw it all up and had no adverse reaction to either the salt or the Choc. (Insert Wink) -
Just received this email this morning - I can't help with your request but I hope it makes you smile :) "Dogs Welcome" A man wrote a letter to a small hotel in a Midwest town he planned to visit on his Vacation. He wrote: I would very much like To bring my dog with me. He is well-groomed And very well behaved. Would you be willing To permit me to keep him in my room with Me at night?" An immediate reply came from the hotel Owner, who wrote: SIR: "I've been operating This hotel for many years. In all that time, I've Never had a dog steal towels, bedclothes, Silverware or pictures off the walls. I've never Had to evict a dog in the middle of the night For being drunk and disorderly. And I've never Had a dog run out on a hotel bill. Yes, indeed, Your dog is welcome at my hotel. And, if your Dog will vouch for you, you're welcome to stay Here, too."

This topic has me crying and also thinking. ATM I have a Cat and a Quaker Parrot so I think that the Children would take them in. I will be asking the question and making sure that it is Clearly understood what my wishes would be. Come to think of it I have not discussed what I would like to happen to me when my time comes, it is a bit raw with the children as my Husband passed away 3 years ago and the Children were only 20,22 and 24 at the time. Time to have a sit down I think and let my wishes be Set In Stone.

I would have exploded at them at 7.30 am As suggested put a time frame and a time that suits you Like AM 9-11 PM 6-8 anything outside this time will be met with Angry Response ;) I feel that people who keep odd hours just expect everyone to do the same........
