any Collie Rough or Aussie Shep results would be greatly appreciated please? Thank you :p
-
Yes if your dog has been awarded BIG or RUBIG you will have been applauded already and most "onlookers" will have moved away from the Ring so why make the exhibitor and dog run around again when there are not many onlookers by that stage? JMHO
-
I Agree. Many exhibitors are "stuffed" and want a rest before General Specials so they go and give themselves and their dogs a rest.

Congratulations!

Clubs in Vic either have to offer Reserve Challenge Certificates or ribbons at the ring( I will stand corrected if someone knows something else). Southern Cross did have the Certs but got left at home so took down details for those who wanted Reserve Cc certs posted out.

Today Boldfolk Amazing Gracie(Collie Rough) was 1st Aust.Bred Bitch and Reserve Bitch Challenge. It was a pleasant day out too

Thanks Gumnut. Gracie is "special" as my late Dad, Bill, chose her as pick of the litter and he also named her so he is watching from the Rainbow Bridge with a smile on his face I am sure

you can have a DNA Test done to test for Ivermectin sensitivity. we only use dimmitrol dailt tablets(NOT the Chewable ones as they have a mectin based ingrdient in them) as our Rough Collies have been DNA Tested and are AFFECTED for ivermectin sensitivity -
If only 1 no in envelope then same no for both shows is what my friends have been told

Dry Food That Does Not Contain Wheat, Corn Or Soy?
InspectorRex replied to Erny's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
Our Collies have been on Innova for about 8 months. yes I know it is imported by the Pets paradise group but I buy mine from Pet Goods Direct. I fed the Innova Adult Large Breed Kibble and they have a little bit of Innova Flex Canned Food. A 13.6 kg bag lasts me at least 6 weeks and that is feeding 2 adult Rough Collies They absolutely love it. The Kibble is a decent size too so their teeth are getting a clean too. I received my samples of Black Hawk the other day. I offered them a few pieces and the look I got from them was " you expect me to eat that!". Even my "hoover on legs " would not have a bar of it no matter how hard I tried to encourage them. Feed whatever works best for your dog and what the dog likes and does well on best is what I have always been told. The Collies love the Innova so they will stay on that. -
Me to Tollersowned. I have been "promised" by the CEO that there will definitely be an article in November VigDog really encouraging Vic Clubs to include Neuter Ch Classes. Now let's just wait and see who will be the first Vic Club to offer this.
-
I have had discussions with CEO Dogs Vic re this and there is going to be something in the November VicDog encouraging Vic Clubs to offer the Neuter Champion Classes

Robyn and Alan Spargo have been family friends for over 20 years( my cousin breeds and shows ACD's) and I was there when they got RUBIS at Shepparton( we got BOB and Ausbred in Group with our Rough Collie ) and we have always supported each other at shows, helped each other out, cheered each other on etc-as friends do.
