I agree Yorkpark. Anyone who lives in the area will tell you the lawns are a quagmire. Inside- now that is common sense . Judges, officials, exhibitors and dogs don't want to be out in the weather we are having at the moment. at 10am we had a sunny 5 degrees here in Hastings -
Did any dogs that "were not in the catalogues" compete and go on to win Challenges etc? (I am not referring to my breed but all of the breeds). As per rules and regulationsb how would one get on if their exhibit was NOT in the catalogue but say won Bitch Challenge etc? Would they keep their points or because they were NOt "catalogued" would they lose their points

I agree with the others, get your friend to go to a Police Station asap and report that the dogs(aka"Goods") are "being tampered with" without the express consent of the owner. Dogs are classed as "goods" so no 3rd party cant "tamper" with said goods without written consent of the owner of said "goods". Hopefully( meaning praying) that the dogs have not been desexed. -

We also wish to thank Mary Denton of Zealotry Kennels for allowing us to use Australian Ch Zealotry King O Spells( aka Paddy) as our Stud dog. We line bred the litter to Antoc Face the Music(Imp UK) and the mating produced the very stunning Gracie. Our very special friends who took over grooming and showing Gracie when my health declined- Katrina Staniland of Kinrina Collies; Cathy Raven of Lakamari GSD's and Shelties; and to Miss Kerrie Thompson( Handler extradonnaire) and Carol Freeman -both of Calstead Collie Kennels. Thanks also to my dearest friends, Scott and family, who care for Gracie sometimes when I am ill. Many thanks to the local, interstate and overseas Judges that have awarded Gracie. "Dad" - we did it!!!!!!!!!!!!! You picked Gracie at age 2 weeks as the "keeper" pup, you named her and now our dream has been filled and you have been watching over this very special girl. Thanks everyone for letting me brag. if anyone is going to KCC Park Sunday 24.4.2011 come and seek me out and meet Lady Gracie and me -

Does Anyone Else Have A Dog With Ibd?
InspectorRex replied to ibon's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
IBD is actually Inflammatory Bowel Disease and can only be correctly diagnosed by Endoscopy. Irriatable Bowel Syndrome is Totally different. I had a dog with medically diagnosed (by endoscopy) Inflammatory Bowel Disease by a Veterinary Internal Medicine Specialist. Different diets were tried- Hills Z/d, cooked turkey mince and potato, steamed rabbit and potato plus she was put on cortisone. We even tried alternative Vet treatment but due to the severity of her Inflammatory Bowel Disease( and Vet error who, when giving her a GA caused a thiopentine skin slough which resulted in our girl getting ostemylitis) we had to give our girl her Wings as her IBD advanced so quickly that she was starting to suffer and lose quality of life. The cause for her IBD - we believe it toi be one "Greenie" that the Vet gave to assist in the keeping of her teeth clean. I myself have medically diagnosed IBD and it is a bugger to try and stop "flare-ups" as the slightest incorrect food can set it off. I take Inner Health Plus Probiotics daily and Slippery Elm Bark Capsules and they do assist in keeping my IBD in check. -
