Know how you feel as it is only 2mths since we had to farewell our 9mth old baby Fergie. It bloody hurts. It is hard enough with an old dog but a young one , well it is the pits. Your furkids are now free from any pain or suffering and are watching over you.
-
My furkids are always with me , photos etc. I have 2 buried at a Pet Cemetery the RSPCA call Pets Dreamtime. It is a properly laid out cemetery , plaques on the graves with the wording of your choice. The fee, $250, for this is then put in to the Shelter to help those furkids wo don't have mummies or daddies to love them. I go and visit them when I can. The latest loss, Fergie, well she is in her special urn in the loungeroom . watching over Dad and I. She will soon join the others at the Pet Cemetery. not yet though, can't handle her leaving me just yet.

Today, Fergie Baby Lady, is 2 months since you left us for the Rainbow Bridge. we miss your cuddles, your "talks" and your beautiful love. we will meet again one day, in a better world. Love Colleen, Poppy and " Maggie "

I cannot believe your Vet has not done a faecal analysis( poo sample sent to lab). that was the first thing my Vet did with our dog. I am not a Vet so I am not going to add to the confusion your are already in and try to guess what your dog has. Demand a faecel test be done asap! you are the one footing the bill after all. If it comes back with soemthing along the lines of IBD(inflammatory bowel disorder) the first thing yout Vet will probably get you to do is increase the soluble fibre in your dog's diet. this is easy and cheap. I use 1teaspoon of Psyillum Husk( gluten free ) in the food daily and it is so cheap, about $5 for 500gms

Dog Shampoo For Allergic Skin Condition
InspectorRex replied to Kismet's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
I like PetNetwork's MediClean Shampoo- it is specifically made for dogs with Allergic Dermatitis etc. It smells good too. You have to be veru vigilant here as sometimes the odour you are referring to can be a secondary infection that will require anitbiotic treatment -
Fergie Baby Lady- it is now six weeks since you passed away and went to the Rainbow Bridge. We just miss you so much. A little soul now resting, free of pain. Love you

InspectorRex replied to Weeacre's topic in Rainbow Bridge
he was just beautiful. one day we will be reunited with all our loved ones at the Bridge. -
:D Oh poor you and Sallie. It is so hard when you lose one , your other dogs look at you as is to say" well where are you hiding her?" we are going through this at the moment. 3.7.2004 our Fergie Baby Lady had to be out to sleep at age 9mths. Our other collie, Maggie, has been looking for her every day and she stares at Fergie's photo on the wall. Fergie was cremated and her ashes came 'home' today. that was bloody hard to do.Fergie will soon be buried in the RSPCA pet cemetery at pearcedale and she can rest forever.
-
It always hurts but you're wonderful Bayliss will always be with you, believe me. I have two canine companions in 14mths, one only just 2 weeks ago at 9mths.I have their photos on the wall .My other Collie, who is 7yrs, stares at their photos every day and has a chat with both of them.

It is now two weeks since you left us Fergie Baby Lady. we all miss you so much. " Maggie" looks up at your photo on the wall and she turns to us and cries then goes looking for you. Oh how it hurts

Last year was hard for me losing my beloved Collie, Brodie , and then 8mths later losing my Mum. we grieve for the rest of our lives because we loved them and know that they loved us. I still grieve for my dog Bonnie who was put to sleep the day Princess Diana was buried. Songs will set me off. Yesterday it was 1 year since Brodie left for the rainbow bridge. I took Dad to local Anzac day service and as soon as the bagpips started i was crying as Brodie used to love going to highland gatherings and though all the fuss was for him. It is okay to cry
