Did a bit of herding with "the girls" a few years ago "Phoebe" did really well with the sheep but wasn't interested in the ducks. "Gracie" thought the sheep weren't fun then when on the ducks she thought the drake was so interesting she plucked feathers from his butt! needless to say we never went agan lol

it is 37degrees in Melbourne at 3pm today and it is damn hot! Tonight will be a hot night, around 25 degrees, so one would guess thar Saturday is going to be a real Stinker!

Just wondering if any fellow DOLers who live on the Mornington Peninsula would like to meet up in Hastings with their furkids? We have a great off-lead area near the Hastings Marina plus most Cafe's in the main street have al-fresco dining.

Katrina Staniland( Kinrina Collies ) has asked me to post the following as she does not have her own Computer : Today 4th February 2012 my Blue Merle Rough Collie Carluke Willofthe Wisp( aka Nelsaon) gained his final points for his Australian Champion Title at the Classic Dog Show at KCC Park under Mrs Pat Connors and he was also awarded Runner Up Best of Breed. Nelson is now known as Australian Champion Carluke Willofthe Wisp. Sire: Ch. Brentland Black Watch Dam: Ch Wicani Wisps of Moonlight Well done dear friend. Now you dont have to get up so early :D

Sounds very much like a Lick Granuloma which required medication from the Vet as they become infected from the continual application of Saliva from licking the area. best to have a Vet check it out as these can become very nasty and apread easily from the transference of the bacteria from one place to another with the dog constantly licking.

As at 5pm the news is "the entire Qantas fleet has been grounded until further notice!" To add salt to the wound other airlines have put extra flights on but are charging double the airfare! To coin Kevin Rudd" fair suck of the savoloy!" What person has access to the money for an airfare that is twice would it be at such short notice?
