yes I vaccinate every 3 years(Nobivac) for Distemper/Hepatitis/Parvo and annually the intra-nasal Kennel Cough Vaccine. I don't do the injectable Kennel Cough Vaccine as 1 of mine had a nasty reaction at the site of the injection plus the Intra-nasal covers wider strains of KC.

You must submit a copy of the desex certificate along with the original certificate of registration & pedigree to your Canine Control(and any fee) to have the certificate changed to reflect the fact that the dog is actually desexed.

I agree with CavNRott- Dr Stephen Coles at Sandringham would be whom I would be taking your dog to. He is a Specialist Veterinary Dentist and for manya year was the Dental for the Royal Melbourne Zoo. He is very thorough and very compassionate about his work. He treats all animals like they were his own.

I am at Hastings,about 20 minutes from KCC Park. How many dogs are you bringing? Our Park here allows dogs,just not in tourist cabins.(do you have a dog float or similar dogs could sleep in?) PM me if interested and I can give you the information. Also you could try ringing the Mornington Peninsule Shire Council and seeing if there are any "farm stays"(I think there are a few).

This is a very informative Post. MY question- My Rough Collie has been on the original Dimmitrol Daily tablet from the yesr dot as it is the only heartworm preventstive that DOES not contain Ivermectin or any of its cousins. She had DNA test for Ivermectin as is "Affected" Now my question- she had been staying with a friend for awhie and tht only other Collie there were myu girls mum and a lovely rescue lad. She has missed about 10 days of the Daily dimmtrol- so can I recommce it or does she have to have the Heartworm detction blood test?

Congratulations Rebanne I agree with you and BB- VCA Should know. For my breed we have our National on the same weekend as several all breeds championship shows( ie Bairnsdale shows and Seymour Shows) so I will endeavour to get a definitive from VCA and, if I do, I will post answer for others.

I did that Rebanne and no-one gave me a definitive answer?

Re Neuter Challanges when a National is on the same weekend: I was advised that if a National was on then no Neuter Challenges could be awarded at all breeds championship shows held at the same time but I too would like an Official repsonce to this please, thank you.

Hi all I feed Coprice Chicken and Garlic Dry Dog Food. Does anyone know if you can get it in smaller bags, say 10kg, as I can only get 20kg bag? If it does come in smaller bags where can I purchase it from( I am in Westernport region of Mornington Peninsula, Vic)? Thank you all
