About Salmonella Salmonella can affect animals eating the products and there is risk to humans from handling contaminated pet products, especially if they have not thoroughly washed their hands after having contact with the products or any surfaces exposed to these products. Healthy people infected with Salmonella should monitor themselves for some or all of the following symptoms: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea or bloody diarrhea, abdominal cramping and fever. Where Were the Products Sold? The affected products are sold through veterinary clinics and select pet specialty retailers nationwide and in Canada. They were also sold in Hong Kong, Korea, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, and Costa Rica as well as online. What to Do? Consumers who have purchased these foods should discard them. I am interested in the Gel as no matter what I try i still find the girls get a build up of plaque. How do you apply it to their teeth? I wont use Greenies etc as 1 Greenie resulted im my beloved Maggie aka Ch Colbeau Go Get Em Legal getting severe Inflammatory Bowel Diseas which claimed her life at just under 8 years.(Maggie was seen by top conventional vets,comlimentary vets etc but the damage caused by the Greenie as catastrophic) Thanks

I live at Hastings,about 25mins from KCC Park. I own a 2 bedroom Cabin in a caravan park right opposite the Westernport Marina,Hastings. The name of the Caravan park is Marina View Van Village. it is a dog-friendly park provided you have your own place(eg trailer,caravan,tent) that your dog can stay in as dogs are not permitted in the "tourist" cabins. Years ago they were allowed but not any more because of health regulations. There is also Discovery Park Carrum Downs(used to be Kingston Lodge Caravan Park) they are about 10mins from KCC Park and they are dog-friendly. Also Fourth Furlong in Cranbourne. Hi GeorgieB We have Rough Collies(since 1960). They are DNA "affected" for MDR1-Ivermectin. On the research I have done I wouldn't give Ivermectin or related drugs even to a Carrie. Also do you have the list of other medications that should not be given to affected/carriers due to the neuro toxicity? If you havent please feel free to email me at [email protected] and I will email it to you. I take the list with me when I have to take my dogs to the Vet. my regular Vet has it all on file and it well versed with MDR1 sensitivity.

I have been with PetPlan since October 2008. The only thing I would change would be to be able to pay premiums on a fortnightly basis(easier when you are on a Pension) As the others have said READ everything and ask questions
