JRT RESCUE

I have and have received no reply, as with previous times I have emailed them with a problems.

Bumping, anybody having problems, for the last two days every time I try to bump a dog it tells me the page doesn't exist.

Is anybody else having trouble getting onto the site, I keep getting another site tntvillage or something like that can't even get in if I try to go through with one of my emails.

So sorry to hear about your lovely boy. I have done grooming in my time and you never leave a dog in that situation at all, they are responible for the care of that dog and they have failed and should be held accountable, although that won't bring your boy back. Sorry but they don't deserve to be in business.

Are you on tank water, what was their poos like. My girlfriend had a similar thing and had Rotty pups at 6 weeks just drop dead, but heathy up til then.

I think there is a problem with the bumping now. Dogs that I bumped yesterday are still waiting. Have sent off email to let them know.

I would pay the money to get them out then take legal action and take it to the media because the longer they have them the more chance of them being put to sleep because they failed a behavior test. I had a jack last Friday that was surrender some 3 weeks previous and then they rang the owner to let her know that he had failed and was on the list last Friday to be put to sleep. She rang me and they in turn allowed her to allow me to take the dog. Apparently he failed on food aggression and not getting along with little dogs. One of my carers picked him up as I was not allowed on Friday and they said they would not hold him over the weekend, had to be picked up Friday or pts. Carer took him home feed him put her hands in the bowl and around his muzzle, then later that day he was playing with her 3 other jacks. And since then we have done further tests with food and other dogs and no problem. So I would get them out asap.

Regarding the 16d you can transfer dogs to another group because in the yearly report that you have to submit there is a space for how many you have transfered to another group. Also when you apply for a 16d you are asked for your constitution to be supplied which I would think in all rescue groups it would say that all dogs are desexed, which mine does. And by the way Jack Russell Rescue do not breed their jacks which they get from the pound. We only allow bitches to have puppies when they are rescued so heavily pregnant that is it in the view of the Vet that she should continue with it and have the puppies, otherwise they are desexed and the pregnant aborted.

Not all dogs go straight from the pound into carers, they also board a lot of their dogs under their name before sending them into care or interstate.

I am always getting older people that want them but I say they need older ones or ones that a much quieter and quite a few do get along with cats, as I am testing them all the time for new homes. wish you were closer because I would take him in.

Yes but then I would have to go through every single page to find my dogs to know which is the further away from page 1.

Simone the list of animal is not in bumping order but in alphabetical so that doesn't work. I also received an email from PR regarding this and they told me to change the order with the little arrow at the top which again doesn't do it. Also they have said "The visual layout of the site is pretty much going to stay the same" I have asked that the green/yellow writing be put into bold and bigger print if possible which would help.

I hope what I heard today is not true that they are not changing the site because we were given time to comment and nobody did so that is it. I can't remember ever getting an email asking for my opinion but I suppose that email went with the one I got to start using this new site, didn't get that one either. Very disappointed.

I have sent off an email to them with a few of my concerns, and will see what reply I will get.

I actually spoke with a girl tonight that lives in Victoria and asked her how she found using the new site and her comments were she wish it would go back as she found it virtually impossible to search for dogs out of her state. Also made the comment that the average computer user would find it hard to use and not sure how older people would cope with it.

the way I find the list of bumping dogs is and if anybody has a easier way please let me know. Before even signing in I go to Rescue Directory, then NSW, then page 4 but I am listed on page 5, so then to page 5, then hit my rescue which brings the dogs up in order of bumping which I am not sure why it can't be once I sign in. So then I write down the ones I want to bump and then Sign in, again have to go to page 4 because that is as far as they are listed, then onto my last page, scan down and then are able to bump. But I must say after doing all of that what annoys me to is to get there and it says "you have to wait another hour before this one can be bumped" What a waste of time. And yes the background is so hard to read, whoever thought of the white background, well words fail me.

Has anybody found a easier way of finding out the list of dogs which are in bump order, like it use to be. I am having to clip nearly 10 times to find this out this is stupid. I have given up just doing normal search of dogs as I find it too hard.

What I do is going into Rescue Groups at the top of the page each day and go to my listing which does have them in order then sign in and then bump the ones I want, not sure if there is a easier way because this does take longer but at least it works, hopefully in time the listings will go back to the old way.

Also I hope they can change the timing on bumping dogs, just been in and have to wait 36 minutes to do one, unfortunately on most days I have left by then for the kennels.

No enquiries at all, also another big group that is at the kennels had no appointments either. Wish they would get rid of the white background it is too hard to see, also got another person who is into computers to have a look at it and they said it was not user friendly and hard the the average person to use.

Know it is the long weekend but no enquiries at all and found that it was not easy to look for dogs on the site, sorry but need to change the white background as the green writing is really hard to read. Wasn't the only group to receive no enquiries either.

I use Firefox and maybe it is green but very hard to read, and also the order I was looking for is the bumping one.

Is the names of the dogs going to stay in yellow as it is very hard to read, also when in the section to edit is there any way of having the dogs listed as they are put on or bumped instead of name order.
