  1. Thank You ;)

Can anyone tell me the dosage for a 30kg dog or does it give a dosage for dogs in the directions.I thought the directions only covered sheep and goats. Is it completely safe for dogs?

  2. If someones lost there dog the first place they go is the pound and if someone keeps the dog at their house they might never find it.Not everyone would check newspapers or internet sights but most will check at the pounds.Im think in some states its law that strays have to go to the pound otherwise the finder is keeping something that in the eyes of the law doesnt belong to them

  3. Im currently feeding my 7 month old lab Artemis Large breed puppy. His pooh has been kinda soft lately..a bit messy to pick up around teh backyard. Its not runny..but its not firm either.

I was considering changing to Nutro Large breed puppy, and was wondering what the gereal consensus was. Or am I better off switching back to Innova Large Breed puppy which is what started him on...?

    THanks!

I tried artemis and my dogs had soft stinky poop and lots of farts I kept perseveering with it but it didnt agree with them.I got some Nutro a few weeks back and theyve got good firm poop now and both of them are going great. So yeah Nutro works for mine.

  4. I also want to take her to puppy school so she can get properly trained, what age can she go there?

Here in Melbouren a lot of the schools will take them from 8 weeks or 2 weeks after their first vacc, but they dont train the puppy they teach you how to train it.You will have to take the dog to obedience school after puppy preschool labs can be very full on pups that are full of energy so regular training at an obedience club and at home is super important. You need to keep their minds busy and give them plenty of exercise(how much depends on their age when theyre young) and things to do.

  5. Id comply with the rules if Staffords become restricted.I couldnt handle having a restricted breed and being scared all the time that a neighbor or someone would dob me in that would be hell. And I wouldnt mind betting that dobbing will increase with all this media hype because more and more people are going to know about them and heaps of people are terrified of them even though most of them have never met one.Ive got a staffordx here and sometimes people cross the road to avoid her she loves people and looks more like a little lab than a pitbull but shes short and brown and stocky and thats enough.

Id move to keep my dog but then theres people who carnt move and they should comply if they want peace of mind otherwise theyll be living in fear of their dog being taken.I couldnt stand it myself

  6. Most dogs dig its part of their nature Ive found the best way is to put poo in the holes this usually stops them digging but then they go on to somewhere else

With the stealing stuff the only way to stop it is to put things away so he carnt get them I guess if you leave it out then its fair game as far as hes concerned. Most people when they get a pup soon learn to be tidy and put things away :(

  7. Yep what Aidan said the crates just for overnight and the times when you carnt watch the pup keeping it in a crate for 45 minutes in every hour is much to long. Also youll have to get up and toilet the pup in the night coz if you dont and it carnt hang on itll be forced to dirty the crate and thats not good.

  8. The better quality foods - no matter what price bracket they fall into - are better quality because of the ingredients, not the name. :(

Yeah I agree with this Ive tried the cheaper foods and I always get lots of poop and have to feed three times as much food. The cheap stuff doesnt work for my dogs but of course some dogs may be ok on it.

  9. Mag got a nasty scratch off a cat this morning. He was sniffing at a bush and the next minute this cat comes flying at him and now hes got 4 gouges down his nose. There was quite a bit of blood. Ive washed it in salt water and it looks ok is this anything to worry about or will he need abs.Someone told me once that cat scratchs often get infected.
