Here theres always breeders listed in our monthly magazine the ones that have broken the code of ethics in some way.They get fines and suspensions and there names are there for everyone to see and you can read what they did wrong.Im in Vic

they can go to a petshop or local newspaper or whatever and pay next to nix for a pup of quiet possibly the same kinda quality as a pedigreed purebred... I dunno just my thoughts here..

You been to any petshops lately or looked at the ads in newspapers?????Theres crossbreed pups in petshops selling for more than purebreeds over $1000 for a lot of them

Are you referring to bull breeds? Bull breeds are very seldom aggressive towards human unless they try to lick them to death

Does the pup have printed registration papers from Dogs NSW? Im surprised they sold you the pup they must have known it was way undersized.

I would return the dog its not fair on the 12 year old shes to old to have to put up with that sort of stuff.Why do you want another dog if shes funny with dogs she doesnt know and bringing in an adult is more likely to cause problems.She might adapt better to a puppy.

Well in that case he needs to go to the vet coz those feet definately arent normal theyre a funny shape as well they shouldnt be flat and splayed like that. Theres something wrong if that happened after a five minute walk unless you walked him so far that you exhausted him (which wouldnt be that far at 7 weeks) and he started dragging his feet but then youd have noticed that

Just wondering if your disinfecting your yard coz some disinfectants can cause that sort of reaction on dogs feet specially if theyre used to strong.

But yeah amstaffs are a lot of dog and need a lot of training and socialisation if you want a well adjusted adult.My girl wasn't socialised well and she is DA (I didnt own her when she was young) and believe me it causes major problems.

All the bull breeds are people dogs why carnt you have him inside?If your going to be keeping him in a small tiled yard when hes older make sure he gets lots of exercise and stimulation or hes going to end up very bored and frustrated and then you can get problems like barking.

No thats not normal 7 weeks is way to young to take pups for walks.Have you got papers for him coz you might have to prove he isnt a pitbull when hes older

I got mine today.Just soaked it and it seems fine, not slimy.Its a bit heavy but water is heavy so I guess you have to expect some weight to it.Probly the heavier it is the longer it keeps cool.

I want one that doesn't druel, doesn't shed excessively, is good with children and other animals. Has a good temperament. Is fairly active (needs to keep up with my border collie) and no size does really matter that much but I would prefer a larger dog.

I don't think many of the giant breeds would be as active as a border collie.

I ended up ordering one of the Hyperkewl ones from Clean Run.Wow i never knew there were so many different ones.The ones from the US are cheaper to buy than the ones here with the free postage.

Does anyone know how long they take to get here?

Ive had to learn about body language coz one of my dogs is DA but Id probly think about going if the person doing it was very experienced and knew what they were talking about someone like Steve Courtney for instance. Trouble is theres so many people offering all sorts of stuff about dogs training grooming socialising ect and I reckon most of them dont know what theyre doing just cashing in
