My favourites are the Tri Girl and the Big Lemon, affectionately known as Dugong. The tri girl was sitting in front of me on Sunday and just barked at me because I wasn't paying attention to her. I looked at her and said "what?" and she barked back. I said "would you like some attention?" whilst talking to her, she tilted her head like she was listening and then barked again. So cute! Lots of personality that girl I need to stop seeing them, the more I see her, the more I want her!

Border collies and whippets are a bit to tall... I'd say he stands about 40cm at the top of his body. My guess is Italian Greyhound x Fox Terrier. He was sold from a pet shop as a "mini foxie".

What's annoying too is that if it doesn't identify your breed properly, you only get two pages of information. Because my two were identified, I got a whole booklet about the beagle breed, what to expect from the breed, a doggy passport that says "beagle" and I think a piece of paper that certifies them as DNA tested. Warls, wanna try identify the breeds of this dog? Another that came back as the same results as Border Lover's. He's very deep chested, tail curls up and around and is fluffy. He's just below knee height. I've asked for a standing photo of the dog so you can see him a little better.

My girls aren't papered, but we knew the father and mother were beagles. I know where the father is from, but not the mother. I did it to test the test. On the forms it asks you what you suspect the breed to be and you can submit a photo if you want to. I wanted them to tell me what breed my dog was without giving them information about what I suspected they were and a photo of exactly what they are. So I guess it will tell you common purebreds, but it won't tell you anything if you have a true bitsa. BUT, it will only tell you a purebred if they've got that breed in their list of breeds they can identify. I know someone who did a test on a newfoundland and it came back unidentifiable. It's a purebred papered dog. So Border Lover, what breeds did it come back?

They are a bit of a laugh... I got my results back today as well, and my girls primary breeds are beagle x beagle and the next breed in the Q values they found was a neopolitan mastiff and weimeraner So, I'm going to say chihuahua and weimeraner

I got my results back last week while I was away from work and the result is: Primary - Beagle x Beagle What a relief, my beagle is a beagle! I'm still not sure about the whole thing.

Nice photos everyone! Huga - I love that photo of Eddie in the bath. Wow, he'll be one soon! Warls - That photo is just gorgeous, she looks so happy Here's my contribution. Sunday is my weekly day for taking photos of a litter of puppies. They are very fast now and I don't get many of them being still and cute like I did when they were younger. Only still photos are of them being stacked. Here's the one I did manage to capture being still: -
What area in NSW are you in?

Two more because I just love my girls so much. This is the second litter Hilary has brought over to socialise them with other dogs and my girls are just so good with them. We had hoped my girls would tell them off for biting, try and bring them into line a little... but this is what happened: Sally just decided to let them climb all over her: Then sat and chilled her her friend:

While Hilary is on holidays, I just thought I'd update this thread with some more stacked pics of the puppies. This litter is 6 weeks today. Tri Girl Little Lemon Girl Tan Girl Big Lemon Girl Tan Boy

Get in line! I have the absolute pleasure of seeing, cuddling and kissing these puppies every weekend. It's the highlight of my week. Every week revolves around Sunday and me going to see them. Thank you Hilary and Sara for allowing me to present and watch the puppies grow and cry when they leave home.

I have one of these tests sitting on my desk and will be doing it tonight on one of my beagles. We know both the sire and dam of our girls are beagles (although ours aren't papered), but we are interested to see what the results come back as. I know of someone who had their dog done and got the results they thought their dog was, maltese x shitzu. Someone else tested their Newfoundland and there were no results for the primary breed, but the secondary breed was a Scottish Terrier. I'll let you know what results I get back.

Hilaryo's puppies, nearly one week old. They now range in weights from 623gms to 718gms. Sleeping around the chilled bottle:
-
They were: Boy - 362gms Girl (Large white) - 425gms Girl (T&W) - 375gms Girl (Small Lemon) - 325gms Girl (Tri) - 391gms They were huge puppies. Sara said her litters normally average around the 200gm mark, so these babies are quite large compared to other litters they've had! All very healthy and strong.

Photos of hilaryo's beagle puppies. I have more photos, but I don't want to overwhelm you all ADJ - They are very cute! That sure is a full milk bar.
-
I didn't get to take many this arvo, they were more focused on settling Macey down and getting the puppies on for a drink. They will come though

Nope! Born 16th, today. The day she was due.

Hilary won't have the internet for the next two weeks. We phoned the vet at 9am and the repo vet was happy for her to keep labouring away with calcium every 40 minutes. Sara decided to leave her until 11pm and see what happens. After the phone call, she started getting very strong and long contractions and decided it was time to stay in the box and labour away. She started making all the right movements like there was pressure where there was meant to be, but she seemed to slow down again after a few hours. Still no waters broken. The decision was made to take her to the vet and have a caesar done as she was exhausted and Hilary was really starting to worry about her girl. An hour later, 5 baby beagles were brought out to Hilary and Sara while Macey was stitched up. One tri bitch, three white bitches and one white dog. All very cute. I'm exhausted, haven't slept since Saturday night. Poor Hilary hasn't either and she doesn't get to go home and not have to look after puppies. I'll head back over tomorrow and give her a break.
-
Macey's temp at lunch time was 37.1deg and she's acting a bit different today. Hilary is hoping she goes into labour tonight and has puppies tomorrow. ADJ - Good luck! Chloe looks huge! Do you know how many she is having?
-
Hilaryo's bitch Macey - Day 60. These photos don't really show how big she is. I'll have my laptop and wireless and will be updating when she goes into labour.
