Thanks Stonebridge. That was interesting and informative. The BM does not need improvements of those breeds it's fine as it is.... Could you share the book you have? I would like to have a read it sounds interesting. Actually any good BM books you could suggest.

I was watching something on BM on the net today and they mentioned that rumour has it back in the BM development they might of slipped in some bloodhound to enhance the BM sense of smell in some lines. Has anyone heard of this?

Because Red is super cool, he has a facebook Reddells page to post all about just him. Ashanali came over and met Red last week and gave us some show pointers (figuratively speaking ). Its quite something to watch someone like Ash stack as it's second nature to her, effortless, I think she could do it blind. I fuss a bit. and just so you can all see Reddells and Ralph are going great guns... Ralph is back on the juice.

Yep Red is terrible sloober machine like Rocco. Except he shakes it everywhere. Red has more the correct wrinkle for a bully, his head hasnt finished growing yet though.

Red and Roc are very different both in looks and personalities, which is a good thing. Red is so enthusatic and a complete clown were Rocco took his modeling duties very seriously. Rocco was a very special dog. Im trying to put a book together of him. I have done half, but it's so hard to decide on images, so many wonderful memories of him.

Those shark ones are awesome, what a magnificent creature. I love your photography style Huga. Really natural and not forced. I think you could become quite the photojournalist.

Thanks again everyone. It's coming up two months since losing Rocco. He had a fan club on our morning walk. People would wait for him to get cuddles. I have been unable to walk this way due to the fact I had to face these people and I was not ready as I still cannot talk about him without crumbling into a mess. This morning with Red we took the route to inform people, I thought Red will help me get through this. Everyone was in tears and it was awful but relief I did it. Really made me think how many hearts Rocco touched. He really was quite something. I am pretty sure Red will be just as magnificent as Rocco in his own way. He did some modelling in the weekend and I think he is off to a great start as my new photography superstar.

Mr Red is going nowhere.

Thanks I am looking forward to him maturing too. It is different having a more active agile boy. Its great actually, he has so much up and go, just wants to learn and please.

I dont think that's Ruth....must be an impostor, I don't see 5" shoes. Ps... noice lens...

First one, nice crop, cool. Second is my pick, great focus and bokeh, nice. Third least fav, just doesn't draw me into stay to look. Perhaps if you went more horizontal and got more environment it might work better. Different angle too, get down to the hoses eye level? Try B&W? Fourth the collar is distracting me, but love the expression.

few more and that will be it for awhile. I dont want to bore you all with him yet.

Thanks again. The lines Roc and Red are from are pretty spesh. Im a bit nervous about the show thing, but I guess we all have to start somewhere. I mainly want to do obedience trialing with him as he is so smart and just wants to learn and please. So I think he could do well. Plus he is not as lazy and arrogant as Rocco.

Thanks Clyde. I am falling for Red pretty hard but Rocco will always hold a very special place in my heart. I still have not gone a day without crying and missing him, now I find myself laughing at how much of a clown Red is. I know Roc would approve of Red. Prob because he is a big doofus like him. Thanks for your comments guys I think he is gorgeous too.

Thanks everyone. I am so happy with him. I was abit worried about him fitting in and comparing him to Rocco. But he is so beautifully behaved, there is nothing to compare. He is so cuddly too. Ralph started off a bit assy. But Red just ignores him, he has a incredible temperament and already made me proud. But Ralph has now calmed down and trying to lick up drool again any chance he gets. Red is not so sure about the face cleaning, but I guess they will get use to each others habits.

I thought I would introduce my new little man. Meet Reddells. I was going to wait 6 months and then look into a Bullmastiff puppy. But a strange turn of events bought Red into my life. He is 14 months old and related to my beloved Rocco. He arrived today and has slotted into our family like he has been here all his life. ;) He is so loving, calm and gentle and I am over the moon with him. I am so wrapped to have the honour to own this boy. Oh, and he is my first show boy..... I cant wait to watch him grow and mature.

You can see the price difference here: 50mm Do you have the 1.4 or 1.8? Based on you have a 1.4. I would not be to concerned about upgrading for the sake of the AF-S. Save your money for another lens. But if you have the 1.8, then I would upgrade to the AF-S.

This is so well deserved, those images are stinking cool. There is not many pictures I look at and think "I wish I took that or came up with that idea"... I did when I saw those. You are a brilliant photographer, well on your way to international success. Good luck. I bet hubby is a little bit jealous.....

How old is he? I wish you lived closer, I would absolutely love to meet a BH oneday.

was this to stop my pestering. Cool thanks again.
