Thanks tlc, I thought he was young, all legs he is. He's gorgeous. I hope you are not having a go at me. If you read my post I said "not-that-its-a-bad-thing".

I wonder what a "real" Bullmastiff looks like or where I can get one. ;) disgusting. The Bullmastiff is so wonderful, perfect and amazing why do people think it needs x breeding. Very sad.

totally agree.

I headed down to the Brisbane event and noticed alot of mix breeds, not that that is a bad thing it was just noticeable in relation to the pure-breds. I havent been in a few years and wont be back. What a circus. Dog fights, dogs dragging their owners around into other dogs faces. I saw three dogs slip their leads. We just watched the flyball and saw the fastest rocket BC ever and left. TLC your event looked a lot more pleasant. Is Bruno a Mastiff? Is he very young?

Thanks for removing the link. I commend your passion for such a fabulous breed. But have to agree with PF, you will only cop a serve and then be more annoyed at the stupidity of these people. They really dont care what they're doing. The best way I have educated people is when they meet my dogs. I dont know how many times I hear: "I have heard of Bullmastiffs but never seen a pure one" or "my neighbour/friend/brother has a BM but doesnt look anything like that". This is when I get to educate people and hopefully new Bullmastiff puppy buyers. Last night I got stuck amongst a huge birthday party crowd on our walk. It took us 20mins just to get through with people wanting to meet, cuddle and talk about Red. I even had two people ask me if I had business cards for his Breeder.

People thinking they own pure BM is not as uncommon as you think. I come across this all the time. Jackie, I might suggest you remove the gumtree link? You are giving this idiot free advertising.

Thanks, thats not the pic he is using though. He wanted a few to pick from, so it's a luck dip at this stage.

I was contacted by the Doxie Digest editor asking if he could use my images of Ralph for the cover of the summer issue. I am so excited our cute little man gets his face on the cover. He is destined to be a star. Im not sure what image he will use as he asked for a few to show case Ralph inside too. I cant wait to see it. He is super proud. ;)
