  1. The shot of Red and Alexs took a bit to get right. I use to fire off heaps but now learnt to wait for the expressions. Red is a bit harder to work with as it all new and exciting for him. Ralph I pretty much can get a photo from him within 10 fires. He is the Kate Moss of the dog world. Thanks for the comments he is a wonderful boy.
  2. Alex was very cool about it all. I think he now knows what I go through working with my animals. He mentioned to Ash it was like working with new borns. ;) Huga, the snuggie - I hope this doesnt change how you feel about her, but it's Cindy's. Thanks guys.
  3. Love the idea about the Ekka and yes we must to Ron again, try and get there on time. ;) Where are all the photo's I thought you would be going crazy with it this weekend.
  4. I just want to share how proud I am of my new boy. When I lost Rocco it was like I had lost everything. I wanted to smash my camera against a wall and give up with my photography. I was so angry with so many emotions that sometimes it was so overwhelming. You all know how much I adore taking pic's of my dogs. Rocco was the best dog to work with and I thought I would never have that feeling again. Well in just a few months with Red he has turned into the most amazing model. He is no Rocco but well on his way to holding his own. He just gives the most superb expressions and I adore working with him. Isnt he fabulous: This is the husband of a DOLer we all know and love. and for you Ralph fans. They are great mates now. Red bosses him around but Ralph likes to be dominated. I learnt very quickly lastnight that Brussels Sprouts and Red DONT mix. ;)
  5. CONGRATS.... good to see this girl has style with a Nikon. I know for a fact Ash will be pushing you along with me to start taking this seriously as you could go far and now with a decent DSLR totally unstoppable. I love your photography. Awesome work Huga. Let me know if you want to trial the 50. I haz a brand spanking new 24-70 now after I dropped it, so you can give that a trial too if you want.
  6. The first pic is stunning. Talk about too much cuteness to handle.
  7. Gosh what a cute BB you have. Nice pic's.
  8. Beautiful Helen, nicely done.
  9. Beautiful, you have such great style and see things well. You should post the spiral seat with Lotus, that is brilliantly done.
  10. Thats what great about it. You have a sense of mystery, it draws you in to a dream state of floating. If the doily thing is removed - cloned out I really think this would take on a new lease of life. Maybe touch less saturation and slight texture. :D But both images are really great ILTBY. Keep it up.
  11. I love these and think they are really cool. Love the processing on the second. My only criticism would be the bath wash thing (I cant think for the life of me what you call those things. ) I would prefer it wasn't there as it draws my attention to the top. You could try some texture too to add more mood perhaps. But good stuff.
  12. What a complete idiot. Bringing a handful of a Dane over to meet us. I was so proud of Red he didn't even flinch or care. If it was Rocco who never tolerated bad manners the Dane would of been thrown on its ass. I think I was in shock watching him bring it over with a delayed reaction of "please dont bring your dog near us". I usually yell at people before they get that close. But I do hate seeing giant breeds acting up like that in a busy people populated areas because it does give the wrong impression of a usually quiet gentle breed. Mind you, Ralph gave a hole new meaning to Diva on Sunday. Lola is awesome. She is such a well balanced dog.
  13. Help Greymates Coconut get into the final 3 (Entrant 2). VOTE NOW
  14. I did, and doing her high5's. I will process and post for you later. Thanks for the comments guys. ;)
  15. Red gets that all the time, it's cute. Lola was so well behaved and people loved her. Not like Ralph..... ;) I didnt like him much today. Thanks so much for my beautiful collar and lead set too. It looks gorgeous on Big Red and he got alot of ooos on his runway. Huski, I just laughed at the pic's of Daisy as she is so intense in all of them. She loves her food.
  16. Love the second one. Really sums up your lot. I think Ed is well on his way to becoming a gymnast.
  17. Gorgeous pic, really nice in B&W.
  18. And we also got the pleasure of the Evil Beagles company.... Daisy love the treats.
  19. Me cute yes? Look everyone Im over here, Im cute, Im ready for some love.... helllooooooo Blow this. What does someone have to do to get some attention around here. Lola was a huge hit at the markets today. Huga kindly bought her along so she could star in the fashion show. She is one cute little pug that took up residence in the neighbouring stallholders basket.
  20. Great idea. I just realise each different room in my house won an award. I think I should be renting it out to photographers....
  21. I wonder how many of us now will be hanging around the chickens this year at the Ekka. ;) I knew there was a few print entered but not that many. Wow, does feel pretty good to be up there. I'm over ambitious now to want a GD....
  22. She is beautiful.
  23. I just love those bird pic's and you were robbed of Ashley's photo. Your work is awesome and totally deserved.
  24. I think you and Ash need to ask Troy to start a Boerboel in the breeds threads.... so we can see and hear more of this fabulous breed. I'm hoping in the very near future they will become a recognised breed here in Aust. Just LOVE them.... oh and I do love a bit of Waldor too, massive spunk. ;)
