  1. I feel a bit blah in my attempt today as I wont have time this arvo to look at something else. Took the camera out this morning on my walk and shot a building we live near.
  2. China is getting big. She is lovely and I love the one of Bron in the car, what a spunk. ;)
  3. I am keeping with the new bed theme. But went with a bit of Roc'n'Ralph love.
  4. Thanks Poocow, I like the colour with the reflection. Both are nice though. spotty.spot.spot your teenager pic is working for me. I like. persephone cripes your flower photography is impressive. Rugers nice pic. Coolibah Coolies your colours are really nice.
  5. Ok everyones pic are really great, few of my thoughts: Jag- The red bottle brush plant is lovely, nice composure. Ashanali - I love the light of the chairs I lean more towards the table chair as I think it's cleaner lines. Clover - nice use of shadow. CM - nice colour. Piper - very jealous of your peach tree. Ruffles - the meat is strangely mesmerizing. TerraNik - love the folk and colour. Bindi - nice pot and nice sense of prospective and shadow. Coolibah Coolies - very cool pole thingy. Great colour. Ruth - love the first one of Chops. Sharp. (Easy on the Roc and his beds too. He might like bed's but he does have standards.) Kirislin - love the apples esp the dog in the background. poocow - nice pic. I would actually like to see the colour version as that reflection looks nice. iltby - nice capture.
  6. Lovely pic's. I like the silvereye. What a cute little guy, round chubby body and little legs. Adorable.
  7. Great pictures. I will try and go through and coment on certian photo's when I get time as feed back is always nice. But I have seen a lot of great pic's I like. Roc's new bed arrived today. I think he likes it. ;)
  8. I have 2 favs today. Because I LOVE corsets. I hate long drops. They are terrifying and I am always worried something is going to crawl up and drag me down into one.
  9. Everyones work is really interesting. Great thread to see how people think. PPS I like how the other dog is in the pic, tells a story and made me smile. Lea the shadows brilliant. Ashanali I like what you have done. Made me feel what Brisbane was like today. CM I actually really liked a few of the others on your flicker better. Really nice. Kja your underwater work is really mind blowing. So fantastic. persephone the feather gorgeous, waiting for the wind to take it on its journey. Really enjoyed looking at peoples flicker work too. Sweetbix.
  10. It's raining outside so were is the best place to be? On his pink pillows of course. I actually got a tripod for xmas so had a go in some low light with it.
  11. Some really nice pictures in here everyone. Kja, Ashanalii and CM as always brilliant. I thought I might be to slack to do this, but I prob have my camera out 95%. I guess if I miss a day noone will send around troops to stone me to death. 1st Jan - fav. Do you really all care about photo info? I will put it if it's wanted. 2nd Jan - I know this is not for everyone, but I wanted a different subject matter. Apologies if this offends anyone.
  12. Bron & China look so adorable in their reindeer antlers.
  13. Winterpaw those backgrounds look simple to achieve but it would be honestly to hard to sit and go through each tool/pointer on the computer. This is were we need LukeW he prob has a photoshop screen grab ready to go. I must say I am not by any means a horse person (they scare me silly), but I like that last horse, what a stunner.
  14. How could he refuse a offer like that.... Come back to us Luke, you are very insightful, helpful and we all love looking at your photo's.
  15. What about Roc.... No one ever wants to play with the fat kid...... he's just big boned. Is that head shot you took of Fly? Very nice.
  16. Have you had a look at lightroom? I think this is a excellent program and a good place to sart with post photography. You will acheive heaps in this and you can download a free months trial. I realised I'm nevr going to be a technical photographer but a post photographer. I can see images how I want them to look. I was out this morning and took a shot of Ralph in a purple bush. I knew how I wanted the image eventually, but I couldnt achieve this straight off the camera. I wanted the deep purple and him to blend in all moody. I like deep saturation but it's not for everyone. Straight off the camera. Photoshop
  17. I didnt realise he did music. I knew he did that RIZE. And yep seen it, fantastic in a weird way. I guess natural progression is to move into film making.
  18. Here is a artist style I adore. Very famous and some of you prob seen his work. Absolute legend. Blows my mind how someone can get to this sort of standard of work. David Lachhapelle
  19. That Darter pic is really nice with the reflection.
  20. naughty Wowsa. You can never be angry at a face like that though. They take so much to heart when they have done wrong and they know the "sad" face works a treat!!
  21. Steady on rugers I only just realised you had another dog. Oops my bad. Well then, you need to photograph Fly more. Well we will ask Troy for a Nikon users thread because Nikon is the new black don't you know.
  22. mind you those tree ornaments are a perfect size to go down a throat as big as his and lodge itself, so better to be safe. I remember one year Roc knew he had a presant under the tree for him (yes I know cheesy on my behalf) he waited until we went to bed and in the morning the tree was on the ground in a trampled mess, some presents had a Roc paw mark through them and his present was open. He did this when he was 2 years old so he should of known better but curiosity got the better of him I guess.
  23. Oh I like boogs, what a cute guy, you need to photograph him more.
