  1. that is the same sister, she just has a wig on. I used to wear ones like that in the '60s I feel frightfully embarrassed. I do think the 60's was cool.
  2. I got my other sister to help me with this one..... I have been wanting to photograph this dress for ages as it is so intensely hideous. But the coulours in it are amazing and I knew it would photograph well. Edited to add a B&W me likes.
  3. TerraNik love the Jedi pic. He is so adorable. Kirislin great horse pic, bloody funny. Bindi~Boo well done capturing the bee. Huga gorgeous. Just a quick one today as I ran out of time. But what handsome subject. Roc all class in his tie. but he is more a pearls man me think I guess you cant buy class
  4. maybe because "that look" is "modern" and sells a product well with appeal. ;) I think some of the best car advertising around is BMW and Mini. Maybe take a look at some of their advertising for ideas and inspiration. Best of luck I'm sure you will kick a$$ at it. Don't forget to show us your work at the end.
  5. is it that much better, what do you get extra? I dont know what photobucket pro is either. Is it a watered down PS? Do you edit online?
  6. Lea the light in the horse pic is fab. The pic of your brother is nice to, very natural capture. I like his tat...... I am a bit partial to a man with tattoos (not covered in fantasy art though ) Ripely the pic with the purple sky is really nice. TerraNik love the rolling pin pic, very nice. You make your own pasta. CM I like the lamp light shadowing the ears. Jag answer to your question is "light room". I love this program. I work my images in both PS and light room. Helen lovely pic's of your dogs. PPS nice rose, great detail. Thank you all for nice comments on my sis. Believe me I have to nag and nag her to help me and she complains. But she is a great subject to work with.
  7. OK I went with a rocstar hat today with a madonna lookie likey. The hat is actually Rocco's  Neither of us smoke, so it was a challenge in not trying to be sick. Sis is being such a good sport and Ripely there is no way you will see me infront of the camera. I'm the ugly one in the family.
  8. Oh wow, that is a great effort on his behalf then. Thanks on your comments.

CM thank you for your comments. I am really loving your pictures. Great you are perfecting one subject and going a great job of it. JAG you did it. Wonderful moon shot. Iltby great front head shot of your Husky. persephone love the moon pic, lovely colour contrast. PPS that is a great church pic. I think you have the angle, could go lower maybe. Was wondering with a tad more contrast might help. But it's great. TLC great shot of the duck.
  10. Alot of great photo's. I will come back and comment when I can. Busy today so went with a quick glam shot. I think my sis is sick of this challenge. Changed pic to add some colour.
  11. I took my feeling out on my photography today. This is called regretful decision When opportunities present themselves on bad timing, you have to say no but regret it and just want to sit in a room alone. another.
  12. Thanks TLC for your kind words. Glad you have joined, I love the swing pic. CM nice pic of Chester. Ruth I like the glass and he feeling behind it. PPS todays pic is fantastic I can see that on a canvas. But everyone's are sweetbix. I took this pic with me in it as I knew I would get a better emotion out of him as he loveeees mum head massages. So alot of runing back and forward. Plus I apologies you all have to look at my thighs. No flash. Flash fired. This is my fav as it has a 80's feel.
  13. Huga great shot and I like your teddy bear pic as well. Ruth nice capture gorgeous light. Final retro of my series because I don't have any more rooms in my house that's tacky. modern entrance.
  14. Cool pic's and great colour. I got some yesterday. Joey (I think) Lizard and this guy. I dont know why I am giving him air time as he growled at me. I was pretty sure if he tried to take me on I could kick his a$s, but he had some crazy eyes going on.
  15. Well done Ashanali. Jag I like your golf shot, great effort. I forgot to mention I liked your brown poodle pic's few days ago. I thought they were very Jimi Hendrix.
  16. I had to break my retro theme (i will be back) as I went on an adventure today. Took a few but these are my favs. panning turtle. sis portrait mushroom Sorry I got heaps and hard to choose.
  17. Wow Kja I am very jealous. You will have a blast.
  18. Thanks Kja. Where are you off to? Ruth is back. Glad you got the camera sorted.
  19. Kja love your pic's, truly beautiful. Keeping with my retro house and legs, today was the bathroom. Granted not as retro as kitchen, but still awful. Modern Vanity Just one more as I like. Just to add another as I LOVE. (OK yes it's spot colour and Ashanali no calling me a bogan. ) EDITED because I cant spell.
  20. CM I just love that pic of yours. Very simple but effective. You are getting very good. Clover the fish colours are so cool very metallic. PPS I am a bit partial to old buildings. I love the rail station pic as it reminds me of my old country home town. Kja the couch shadow is very nice. Plus ouch, naughty pup!! Looking forward to peoples pic's today.
  21. Steady on Ruth, of course we work very hard. Admitting I am a tad behind today now. No gift today she just got sick of my nagging. That ham was from Christmas. When we purchased it was enormous and we sat pondering how two people like us are going to get through it. I am now currently writing a book called 101 recipes for a Christmas ham. Needless to say I am a tad over ham.
  22. Always happy with a smile. You can borrow the legs. She wasn't willing. I had to beg her. I want to do a series with our retro house so we will see what I have to buy her tomorrow to participate.
  23. Have you scaled the picture to post on here? If not and this is exactly what is off the camera you need to play with your resolution setting. Set it to high quality. To me this is'nt over sharpened, but low res. My dad use to do the same thing. Edit to add Luke bet me to it....
  24. Ok, we have a very retro house that is in-need of a make-over. I thought I would utilise the kitchen today. I didnt want to just take a snap so I got someone to sex it up a little. Modern Cooking. Also everyone pic's are really great I would comment on them individually but there is so many. So easier to say "all doing fantastic job".
  25. Yep that would be my local, which I don't use. I think the crowd there would pick up their dogs and run screaming from the park if I rocked up with the big guy. ;) Hence why I feel a tad blah about my picture as I see photographers always hovering around that place. It is cool though I must admit. Plus I love Watt even if it is a big rip-off.
