Shilohs breeder lives in Drouin, and has always taken all of her dogs there, but I cannot for the life of me remember the vet and all her puppy things are in storage so I cant check at hime. Maybe PM Kallista and she will know or have the info handy

My boy turned 2 in September. I have only shown him 4-5 times but felt he was not mature enough so I will get him out more this year

He is still a baby so you need to keep being persistent as you would when you first bought him home. Take outside regularly and praise when he does go No puppy is toilet trained at 3 months old .... I dont trust mine until around 8 months old and thats when there has been no accidents for a very very long time !!

Very normal Mine eat grass on a daily basis, along with my cats. It helps their digestive system

If this is the case the bones are too hard ... as others have said, lamb flaps and lamb necks

Mine sleep where ever I put them. Cooper always sleeps on the bed with me the the 2 young ones in their crates in the spare room, however in the last month they have all been on the bed, or the couch If I put them all in crates tonight I dont get any complaints even after being out for a while ! If you are worried about her wanting to always sleep on the bed get her a crate and put her in that of a night in your room or at least inside

I'm one of these I tried BARF a couple of years ago, read every book and article I could possibly read and decided I would give it a go. After around a month of BARF I was at dog training with my over the top border collie who for some reason had become disinterested in working that particular day. Didn't think much of it, just thought he has having a bad day. Training next week was the same, not interested in working, and the week after again. I cannot explain how flat this dog was He was not interested in food, toys, anything and I was starting to worry a bit. After talking to a friend at training (without them knowing what I was feeding) they mentioned that it might be diet related. I then twigged that I had changed his diet over a couple of months prior to BARF. I went back home and again read all of the info I had, made sure he was getting everything needed in relation to his body weight etc. Everything I was doing is as I was supposed to according to BARF. I thought I would try him back on his kibble to see whether this was a diet related issue and within 2 weeks I had my Cooper back again. For some reason it did not agree with him, or there was something missing in his diet that was not being covered by BARF, I dont know. I will now continue to feed the kibble as I do, and whatever foods my dogs do well on

do this with another person standing at your shoulder blind folded, and start moving and get them to go with you as a dog would. How that person feels and reacts to your pace and body lanuage, is how your dog reacts

:rolleyes: well we are apparently poisoning our dogs by feeding them kibble so I guess it cant do anymore harm

My camera isn't working at the moment. Do hot spots normally show on the back though? They sure do ... the hot spots I have seen have all been on the dogs back ... without seeing it its a bit hard to say what it is though. Try doing a search on DOL for hotspots cos I'm sure there has been a few topics on them

You could try Coprice Working Dog food. I buy this and mix it with their Advance and they bloody love the stuff. The kibble is a little bigger than a 10 cent piece Its not classed as a "premium" food as such, but I have had great results with it so you could look into it a little more :rolleyes:

Personally I never found anything that got rid of it .... the only thing I could suggest is to find out whats causing the licking and treat it (maybe something more than Malaseb is needed ?) then let the stained coat grow out and clip it off I have found from grooming, if the dog keeps licking the area the staining will always remain.

I agree ... BARF can cause damage if not done correctly. I have fed my dogs BARF and never again as no matter how "by the book" I did it, it did not agree with one of my dogs and there was a big change in him !! They are brilliantly healthy on the kibble I choose to feed. I do add either a raw egg or sardines to that plus their RMB. I understand your frustration however BARF is not the be all and end all ... as Trisven said, each to their own ;)

I love lamb necks, lamb flaps (ribs) and brisket bones The flaps come in the "full set" so to speak, so for a smaller dog or puppy I just slice them into smaller peices
