I just sat with them for 10 minutes and made sure she had a decent feed from mum. She now has a bellyfull of milk but I can see why she wasn't gaining weight. She attaches and the other pups knock her off so easy with their weight advantage. They just climb on top of her, push her off and take over. I think I'll have to supervise her feeds every couple of hours to make sure she gets in there.

Macka, it depends on the image. We removed a drain pipe from brickwork the other day and it was perfect. I'm one of those people who can't STAND bad photoshopping and can spot at 100 paces areas that have been cloned repeatedly. I couldn't spot it at all. In the images in the OP of this thread, I noticed a few errors with the content aware... but all stuff that could be fixed with a few seconds with the patch tool.

Not here! I had a little heart stopping moment this morning. I had put a wheat bag down with the pups while I put Kayp outside for a run. A little while later I asked my son to let Kayo back in with the pups and to take the wheat bag out. He let Kayo in, forgot to take the bag out. I walked in there a bit later and find Kayo curled around the wheatbag and a puppy jammed between her and the wheatbag, very still and on his back. I thought he was dead. He looked dead. I pulled him out and he started squeaking at me in disgust. Thank goodness for a happy ending! Wheat bag then removed from the box. Now some bad news, my solid liver girl is still strong but she has lost weight since birth when the others have gained about 100grams. I'm going to start supplementing her. There doesn't seem to be anything wrong with her, just that she's a runt and seems to get pushed out of the way when the others feed (particularly now they have a weight advantage). Hopefully the supplementing will see an improvement with her.

Like this for example: Spot the difference east west front feet have been 'corrected'. I think what's more worrying about CS5 is puppet warp, not content aware fill.

Women Injured And Animals Killed In Overnight Fires (caboolture Qld)

I keep coming in here to see if there is further news and I still have no words for all that has happened. Get better real quick Jed. RIP to the much loved dogs that didn't make it. -
These are my feelings. I WISH we had a national for my breed but we don't. And for people who complain about the expense of travelling to a national, don't go! If you don't like the idea of not getting points if you choose to enter a local show on the same day, don't enter your local show! Spend a day off from showing, go see a movie. I don't understand why people are so desperate to go to every single show that is on the calendar??? *disclaimer - this comes from a person who hasn't been to a show since last August. *

We have eight and I think that will be all. She has copied Sunni's first litter giving me 6 girls and 2 boys. Girls 3 solid lemon 1 lemon and white 1 solid liver 1 liver and white Boys 1 solid lemon 1 lemon and white I didn't get exactly what I wanted but I sort of have. I wanted a boy who was like Ronin, but liver... well, I have a boy like Ronin. He entered the world squealing and he hasn't shut up since. Time will tell what happens with these pups. I'm also quite taken with the liver and white girl so it will be interesting to see how they grow.

Pup 7 solid lemon girl

I originally thought she only had six big pups but now she's had six big pups (all over 400grams), I'm thinking there's probably 2 more. She still has a belly.

She must have heard me. I still don't have what I want but she did just have a solid lemon boy. The good thing is that so far, I don't need to use collars on the to i.d. them. They're all different

Well kayo has been very thoughtful and given me one of each possible colour combinations in the bitches... Now I just need her to do the same with boys. So far girls liver and white solid liver lemon and white solid lemon boys lemon and white What am I hoping for for me? Either a solid liver or a liver and white male. cone on kayo! Hit me with some boys!!!

pup 3, lemon and white boy who came out squealing as soon as I broke the sac over his face. I think he thought he was late to the party.
-
Two pups now, both girls and both over 400grams second girl is solid lemon, photo on my facebook how nice of kayo to have them in the middle of the day.

Puppy number one... big liver and white. Not sure of sex yet as she's cleaning it up still.

I can't lift her out of the whelping box because my back is out at the moment so I have to encourage her to jump out. She won't jump out when I'm standing in the door way so I walked up the hall. Next thing she has jumped out and come tearing up the hall leaving a trail of mucous on the tiles behind her. I let her outside and she was just wanting to wee constantly. I brought her back inside and she jumped straight into the box. Things are happening but no pups yet. Wish she's hurry up and get started.

Photographing Animals Indoors
Ashanali replied to MavericksMission's topic in Photos, Photos, Photos
You're talking about colour temperature. Light has different colour temperatures, just like when you adjust the temperature of your monitor from something like 5500k (kelvin) to 6500k and you can see the difference, different light sources also have different temperatures. Tungsten light is yellow and warm. You will get this when shooting indoors using light from the older style light bulbs Flourescent light is actually very close to daylight in terms of temperature but it adds a green colour cast Flash is close to daylight but somewhat cooler If you have the white balance on your camera set to AWB (auto white balance) the camera will select what it sees as most correct. Usually it is close, but sometimes you don't want that. If you put your setting onto cloudy or shady, the camera thinks you are in an area that has 'cool tones' and will warm up the colour temperature. If you have the cloudy setting on when you shoot in an area with tungsten light, people will look like bright orange oompa loompas. If you have are shooting indoors and have a really warm light that's over the top, you can select the tungsten setting (it looks like a lightbulb) and it will cool the image down. Be warned though, if you forget and then head out and shoot in daylight, everything will look very blue. The best tip for shooting indoors (anything, not just dogs) either use natural light or use a proper flash (not the pop up flash) directed to bounce of the wall or ceiling or even off the camera (that's a bit advanced though.) Alternatively, set your camera to AWB and then make slight corrections to the temperature when you are editing the images. -
She spent a big part of the night doing some nesting, nesting and more nesting. She's tired and back to sleep now. I'm just happy that she let me sleep during the night and didn't try to climb on me. Still some discharge. I'm going to let her out for a run and see how she goes.
-
It likely won't be tonight, all the signs atecthete but when she falls asleep, she's very settled. I have a feeling she's going to waituntil business hours. Lucky for me, the beanbag is comfy so I've managed to sleep

Yep. Mum is a solid liver who is genetically, liver/lemon, dad is a parti colour who is genetically lemon/lemon. Possible colours are solid liver, liver and white, solid lemon, lemon and white. I'm a bit excited and can't wait to see what she gives me Now I have to go dig out the heater for the laundry and get set up in there before it gets much later. I was going to get myself organised tomorrow (as I've been away for the last few days for work) but it doesn't look like she's going to give me the chance. I'll try and update in here during the night but if anyone wants to keep up to date you can add me on facebook. I plan on adding pictures as I go. facebook - Alicia Kennison

I take all this back... we are in the early stages of labour. She was obviously waiting for me to come home from Canberra.
