actilax is really good i've given that to new born puppies right up to adults and it is very hard to overdose so they end up squirting i've always ended up with soften stools so they can go but never the squirts from it you buy it from the chemist it come in a big brown bottle i give newborns 1ml and adults up to 10mls depending on their size dfa

Clicker Training Help
dogsforall replied to ShellyBeggs's topic in Training / Obedience / Dog Sports
agree with above lots of treat then when he is interested in them click just one here and there then slowly increase as he becomes accustomed if someone else has a click at training you don't want him to freak so better to get him used to it where he is sfae and comfortable then have him freak if someone uses one when you are out best of luck dfa -

make it fun and relaxing and they will soon enjoy it i have one girl who wants a bath so much that if i'm in the shower and leave the bathroom door open she will come in and nose the sliding screen open and hop in the shower with me ;) but most will learn to enjoy it over time or at least tolerate it so no-one gets hurt just take your time and stay calm and happy and lots of treats good luck ;)

Gomez-vs-guinea Pig "food"
dogsforall replied to Gomez the Norfolk's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
mine love raiding the horse feed which has pellets and grains and we have had no ill effects if they were in the wild they eat that stuff from the insides of their prey so i can see no reason why it would not be good for them -
honestly without lifting up her lips and looking you would not realise our girl was missing a tooth and some judges still don't notice if you aren't showing her i would probably just get them to pull the tooth but that is me and we are all different my vet gave me a cert to say the tooth had to be removed to show judges if they asked we thought about getting a cap done but after weighing up pros and cons decided once out it was fixed for life but if capped may have to be re-fixed later and i didn't want unnecessary op's done the track just for a tooth lets us know what your vet says tomorrow and roughly how much a cap would be if you don't mind best of luck tomorrow matilda and please try not to stress your mum too much by doing those silly things
-
i agree good safety margins on those products and better a little more than not quite enough
-
sorry i can only answer for one side i've only ever had them removed when broken bad i have no regrets at removing them once the tooth is removed and the gum healed i don't have to worry they may re-break the tooth and all mine have healed fine with no problems and now you wouldn't even know they have a tooth missing unless you look the last one i had removed OH feed her a chicken frame two days later when i realised what he had done ran out to her in a panic thinking she wouldn't be able to eat it or it would hurt her gum and just as i got there she was crunching the last bit with no problems is the reason you are wanting to cap the tooth is so you can show her? or other dfa

Quality And Management Of Photos
dogsforall replied to Purple Julie's topic in Photos, Photos, Photos
hi all i take them on the highest setting but i have a brilliant program for sorting and storing pics it is called thumbs plus all my pics are stored off line on external harddrive or disks with thumbs you don't have to have the disk or drive to see what is stored on them and the thumbnails come up instantly with out the disks in and it will tell you what disk the pic is stored on if you want to edit it saves going through lots of disks to find that one pic it also edits and does all that other stuff as well takes up very little room on your comp but thumbnails of the pics are always there for you to see i have even had friends bring s disk or usb of pics for me to look at and i can still see all the pics even though i no longer have the disk or usb as you can tell i love being able to see the pics still but not have to worry about room on my harddrive or searching through all those disks to find one pic i brought my copy at camera house thanks dfa -
i'm a mean mommy and put the hose on them if they won't stop after being told to but now they have learnt and if someone is being persistent all i have to do is pick the hose up and they all go hide in their kennels (told you i was mean) but thankfully all mine are quiet unless something is out of the ordinary and then i don't mind them barking

congrats one the three girls
