You should find Photoshop Elements should do about everything you want to do, just some things might be done differently than with Photoshop. A good book is always useful, Scott Kelby is a good author.

I haven't tested the knee properly yet, did a few runs around the showring in November but didn't last for more than a couple of laps but hopefully it will be OK - Silvawillow and I are a good team LOL Main reason I am home at the moment is because Bella had pups 3 weeks ago

I am getting withdrawal syptoms

I had mine measured at a trial so it is probably better to get it a little longer to allow for shrinkage

I have a black dog harness too, and love it. I phoned them and asked for it to be adjustable as my dogs are slightly different in size. Not sure if it is standard for them to be adjustable or not but mine is. I also agree it is very easy to put on

I was going to recommend this book, sorry for the delay but have been busy - http://www.kateconnick.com/library/woodshydog.html Also ask the question in rescue forum. There is a member of this forum who I can only remember by real name who rescued a dog who was terrified of everything who is now doing great - the person would definately be reading the rescue forum -
Hi. It does help to have some training first. If you go to Agility Dog Club or other agility clubs around Melbourne they have foundation course which will teach you the basics you need before starting on the equipment. You will really enjoy it if you decide to go ahead.

Puppy Games For Future Agility Work

I stumbled across this book today, looks great but haven;t seen it http://www.learningaboutdogs.com/acatalog/learninggames.html -
I use both clicker training and reward based training without the clicker. I think the more complex a behaviour is the more likely I am to use a clicker and find it great for tricks. I also like to use the clicker for a while while a dog is young so it is ingrained in their brain and do some more 'thinking' type things which will mean they can think more for themselves while training them in the future. Things like sit I might not use a clicker initially but to polish up and get faster or straighter sits etc I will use the clicker as it is easier to communicate what you want exactly, eg if the dog knows how to sit and you want a faster sit then only reward the faster sits and the sits dog gradually get faster and faster. A great book for someone wanting to learn how to clicker train is the clicker training foundation book here - http://www.learningaboutdogs.com/acatalog/bookvid.html - you can also get this as an e-book in the site mentioned above by wingus.

Who Would Be Your Dream Trainer?
helen replied to Lablover's topic in Training / Obedience / Dog Sports
For me it would be a toss up between Kaye Lawrence from the UK and Karen Pryor from USA.
