  1. A great book that covers all subjects is The Betterphoto Guide To Digital Photography by Jim Miotke Amazon - http://www.amazon.com/Betterphoto-Guide-Di...3368&sr=1-2 Fishpond in Australia - http://www.fishpond.com.au/Books/Arts_Phot...ords=jim+miotke
  2. :D Congratulations on your huge achievement
  3. thanks, they are fantastic aren't they.
  4. I can't see anything or the links (old computer) could you post the links please as I would love to see them
  5. That is fantastic news. Any idea how it got off the ground? Some tips to get Rally-O going would be great
  6. The lightest dumbell I have had was a wooden one from J & J Dog Supplies (USA), worth the money but another dog chewed it I have one of the rounded ones like on the Australian site, it was given to me from Queensland so could even be the same place. It is a great dumbell but a little heavier than the J & J one (but still light) - Bella tends to find the rounded mouthpiece more comfortable
  7. Does this look familiar to anyone - http://home.exetel.com.au/wmphotography/al...s/_B8J1819.html BTW I think the nationals are every 2 years
  8. For general walking I prefer a long lead, I have 6foot leads. For obedience trialling with Bella I had a lead custom made from Blackdog - I worked out the length I needed allowing a good loop to show the lead is loose. The tug leads are great too, but my dogs are more food motivated than toy motivated so that is their reward after a run.
  9. Jess's run in the final was awesome to watch, I checked the results and your run was the fastest. Another Victorian that did very well in the finals was Tara from agility dog club who was 3rd in Novice jumping final with her little Poodle who flew around the course in style. Congratulations to Leo on the title, Tassie had some success too when she gets back on here. Was also great to see a Brittany in the Masters agility final, especially as there were only 5 Brittanys running. Edited to add -- I won --- the raffle on Saturday. Reg Dwyer donated agility equipment so I took that prize in the form of a hoop. He has just started selling the equipment and it looks great. When we did our jumping run on Saturday I didn't even know if Tilly would remember what a tyre was after so long (she did) but I won't have any excuses now LOL
  10. I haven't entered Hastings. The nationals is going to be my first trial for a year so I could be a complete disaster LOL - am putting my knee to the test after a injury
  11. I would try tying him up and increase the distance very gradually
  12. Way to go TAssie. Will hopefully be able to watch Kirra in action at the nationals as I finally entered at the last minute
  13. Congratulations to Max. Waiting on more news - how did Gamby go? He has some trophies waiting for him from Geelong today
  14. Just to add, watching the video it does seem to have an element of acting.
  15. It seems people will always be bullied on this forum if you disagree with the e-collar trainers as you have found. There are some positive training forums I can direct you to if you are interested, just send a pm to me
  16. You should come Prodigyboxer, it is always a great trial. I am stewarding in novice saturday afternoon and UD sunday afternoon
  17. Rottweiler club of SA have obedience training, someone here is from there but not sure of the name, looks like a great club though.
  18. I recently enquired with Action Dogs and have been put on the waiting list. I have been told my friend, that had 2 friends that have joined, it can take up to 12months to get in?! I Would love another club in the south east for sure! There are a few VCA affiliated obedience clubs that also have agility, maybe phone Dog Victoria or see their website for contact details.
  19. I would recommend taking him to a good puppy pre-school for some socialisation and training to begin with. Also if you want some good puppy training information go to http://www.k9events.com
  20. Congratulations everyone, Especially Borderlover with your first trial!!
  21. I know of quite a few Lab breeders who feed Eaglepack Holistic and love it. Personally, I use Purina Pro-Plan
