Someone made me pose next to this, but everyone knows I am not a Carlton drinker

With a swivel screen the LCD screen opens up and goes around in circles so you can hold the camera at any angle and point the screen toward you so you can still see what you are shooting, great for getting different angles

For me #1 thing on the wish list for a point and shoot is a swivel screen, you can get a bit more creative with it - The canon G11 has a swivel screen, and I think Canon have another slightly cheaper model with a swivel screen

The other option you now have if you want less bulk to carry around then an SLR is the new pen cameras with interchangable lenses, have a look at this link http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/SamsungNX10/ and http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/SamsungNX10/ If it does interest you then I would suggest comparing the price of the lenses of these to SLRs,

Anyone else go? I went along with a friend and knew a couple of others in our group, we all had great fun. I did take a more centered image but a bit different, did a quick edit, so the white rubbish under the chair hasn't been removed, white draws the eye so it is always best if you can remove bits like that. I didn't really feel like picking up the rubbish as you just don't know what you might find lying around there - it was supposed to rain here today Huga but is is the nicest, sunniest day we have had for ages

I think it would look good. Might get up early and try it again next week on a bed or something. Had to be careful here, lots of glass and I carried her to the chair - it is near a road and the photo session ended pretty quickly when a stray cat decided to enter the building and got Bella's attention (it is a derelict building)
