  1. Thanks heaps, the club will really appreciate them. I will send a PM with my address
  2. If anyone has any unwanted photography books, especially on digital photography and would like to donate it to a worthy cause ie Geelong Camera Club please let me know. There are a lot of new members who are looking for books to help them learn digital photography but they don't have a budget for books. Any dontations would be greatly appreciated, let me know if you have any to donate.
  3. I agree, I don;t think you can go wrong with either, depends on how it feels and how it feels. When I went looking for a camera I was intending to buy a Nikon but found the Canon more comfortable and liked the menu better, so went Canon, but others prefer the Nikon

  8. They can do other things though (at least, they can over here - presume they can in Aussie). Obedience, agility, flyball, endurance test, working trials, etc. That is what I was going to suggest too. Cross bred dogs can compete in those sports which are all great to do, we don't have working trials though. You usually get involved with these sports by starting at an obedience club. You could always look up Dogs NSW if you don't know of any clubs in your area.
  9. That is the sort of dog that is just perfect with 2 littlies
  10. Great photos, but I am not quite sure about the color of that scarf TLC That is lovely Huga, I think you should include that beautiful boy of yours in every photo Pugs don't do anything wrong do they? I reckon they pop out naturally well behaved Loving those Lappie pics Evolving
  11. We went to the Finnish Lapphund Club Vic picnic today, was a great day with lots of fun and yummy food, took some photos and of course for Bella's main photo she had to be with a Lappie And on her own
  12. Didn't know you even could at the time, I guess I would now
  13. It is a pain when people have dogs at shows who very obviously have kennel cough. I went to a weekend away where there were dogs near us with bad kennel cough the whole time. Chazer caught it, luckily 2 dogs with us that didn't belong to us didn't get it because both their owners also had very elderly dogs at the time too. Chazer coughed for a day then stopped and I thought it was over and he started again a few days later. Luckily the girls didn't catch it off him, otherwise I would have missed the agility nationals in Victoria, and they only come around every 7 years so it was Bella's only chance of ever going.
  14. Monah just try increasing the stitches - based on what you have said 40 stitches should work - and see how it goes, I had to pull my first square out a few times until I worked out how many stitches I needed.
  15. there are always dogs walking around off lead around here, including one person with a corgi and another person with a chihuahua, always a distance from the owner. All it will take one day is someone backing out of their driveway because they simply won't be able to see the dog
  16. Did you receive an email about this? I registered (or so I thought) and haven't received anything. Also site seems to be down
  17. I think Lort Smith Animal Hospital in melbourne do teaching at their vet clinic too
  18. I have been told (by vets) that if maternal anibodies are high they still may be present at 12 weeks, so if they are the 12 week vaccination is not effective so they need 16 week also Sorry to hear about your 2 rexiam, very sad to loose young pups
