  1. Thanks everyone That sure does have a halloween vibe Huga
  2. Brittany specialty is on the same place as the Gundog Club show on Saturday so I will be there, I can't keep up the good results forever though, it is making me more and more nervous, so I reckon I won't be in the money this year LOL
  3. lovely self portrait TLC, and very cute shot of Echo too Well it got to 7pm on Sunday, I was driving home and seeing all this beautiful light but the thought of going out one more time was just too much after a very busy day. Maybe we will wait for that great light another time :-) Instead I open the blinds a bit more and got a lovely window light portrait and Bella was very obliging and cocked her head and put on her cute look
  4. Tell me about it. I have a friend who does arcitecture photography so has to have one for that to straighten out the lines, but apart from that I don't know of anyone who has one
  5. thanks are you the person who commented on it? lol i've only just started using flickr n have no idea how it works really That was me With flickr you can add your photos to groups, so for the lensbaby shots you could join some lensbaby groups and add them for example.
  6. Carebear love the one of everyone swimming the pool
  7. my head spins just trying to use it I seriously need to get it out and play with it some more
  8. I have an original lensbaby, brought it when I went to help out someone at the camera market, I have only used it a couple of times
  9. I might be able to help out, can you send me details, especially as to where it is
  10. If I had letter blocks I would have done yours from a few weeks ago where you spelt out Lola - I did manage to get Bella's name in one of my photos so far at least, the photo with the chalk and bone
  11. Great photos everyone For those in the Flickr group there is a challenge this week to imitate/pay tribute to another photo in the group that you like. I managed to find one from last week to imitate, both dogs even have silver bone shaped name tags My photo And the photo I paid tribute to
  12. it is raining already LOL ETA it is now pouring
  13. I have done it myself so I answered yes and certainly don't have a problem doing it for people I know will appreciate it.
  14. Will check it out when I get a few spare minutes, maybe if we get that rain photosig is pretty good site, I love 1x.com, wouldn't submit the same photos to the different sites though
  15. Happy birthday Echo That is funny with the hair stuck on Lola's nose. Anyway Bella is so over having her photo taken that I recruited some help this week so she could have a bit more fun, ended up with a series, taken on a walk
  16. You better not photograph any more whippets or you will take one home LOL. Very cute photos

  18. she is really cute, looks like she might get into some mischief LOL
  19. Some beautiful macro images there, it will be a great exhibition :D
  20. Great post about Boxers, but some can do really well in obedience and agility etc. My old girl Bella had a Boxer in her puppy class. Bella and the Boxer Cooper were the wild ones in the class, always being naughty and doing everything but what they should do. Both these naughty puppies were the ones that went on to get obedience and agility titles. Cooper's owner enjoyed training and trialling her Boxer so much she got another a couple of years ago and they are doing really well too. When we started agility trials there was an older Boxer who was in masters at the time doing a brilliant job.
  21. CM - great shot. Cadel Evans was the defending world champion, he didn't place but did well and was there at the end. Australia did get 3rd though with Allan Davis, winner was the first ever win for Norway. Australia won the men's under 23's with Michael Matthews so some great results for the Aussies. TLC, great hair cut
  22. Well couldn't really avoid it this week, as Geelong is hosting the UCI Road World Championships I had to go with the big event, nothing special but it was pretty crowded - I hope the Aussies can follow up the win for the under 23's with a win in the professional mens race And from the time trial the other day
