Excuse my excitement this week Happy 11th Birthday Bella We were at the Dogs Big Day Out today and she got this cake compliments of the French Bulldog Club She also tried out the new gundog working test and did a brilliant job

Ah yes a Moddle. From the same people that brought you: King Charles Cavalier Spaniels Shit Zu's Brittany Spaniels and Maltese Terriers There is no Spaniel in Brittany in most cases including Australia but there are exceptions. Brittany is still called a Brittany Spaniel in Canada for example, their breed standard names the breed as Spaniel (Brittany), and there are quite a few Brittany people there so in some parts they are known as Brittany Spaniels Doesn't make it a cross bred dog. If you look at the website for the French Brittany club the name of the FCI standard is "FCI-Standard N° 95 / 05. 05. 2003 / GB - BRITTANY SPANIEL (Epagneul Breton) - ORIGIN: France", although the breed is called Epagneul Breton My pet hate with the Spaniel in the name is that people think they are stupid dogs because they are Spaniels because they are far from stupid. Mind you I don't think Spaniels are stupid at all either

What a great challenge, and some great photos, love the tea cups especially I am going to cheat and use my reject from the 52 weeks of Bella project for my first one, joy - because chasing mozzies is fun and rotten weather

This week I decided 52 weeks of Bella wouldn't be complete without a photo of her doing her favorite trick, bow. But you know it is true when the say never work with animals or kids because she flatly refused to bow LOL. So I took this photo instead

Well I did the pull test with Chazer. He didn't pull for a while but it had nothing to do with the shirt, he just didn't want to get to anywhere in a hurry, eventually we walked toward my friend so he started charging to her for his pat Thought the pulling thing was a bit much to expect

I love all the Christmas photos. I did one this year for the first time as part of my 52 weeks of Bella project. I had planned an outdoor shot a lot different to this but it rained

What was really sad is that the puppy is displaying beautiful body language/calming signals while standing, looking away from her and she then forced the pup to look at her, it then just froze on the spot

I did a couple of different things this year that I really enjoyed The first was helping someone to learn more about photography. She thought she was having focusing problems and after a bit of a chat I discovered she bad lighting so helped out there. I am going to sign up as a mentor at the camera club once I get my life more organised The second was the discovery of personal projects, why they are great to do, and just how enjoyable they are

They should print up fine from what I can see. I did some calendars earlier in the year and there was nothing wrong with the printing at all from Redbubble, they weren't too dark, my monitor is callibrated. I put together the Finnish Lapphund Club calendar and am hoping to see that very soon so can let you know how they printed up.

Would love to hear back from everyone who got one. You could spray paint yours pink BTW the one that I can borrow would fit my dogs nicely and still be tight as the dogs are around the same size so I could do the pull test. Do people find they take time to work or has it been more or less instant? The dog I was talking about was wearing his around the house for a while before he was wearing it out and about

great photos CM and Huga & evolving TLC - that first one is so funny, and very suitable for the weather. Here is mine this week, another wet weekend so another photo inside. The last 4 weeks my photos have all been inside due to rain or out in the pouring rain. I am starting to enjoy it. Might do 52 weeks of Chazer on the couch next year LOL

that must be such a good feeling to achieve so much with her I noticed they reckon it stops lead pulling. Brittanys are notorious lead pullers. Might have to borrow my friend's and give it a test run LOL
