Thanks tlc, except I don't like her windblown ears. Might try it another time when it isn't so windy! Helen, that photo is just a little weird and spooky!!! It is the two faces of Chazer LOL
-
Well I haven't seen Chazer except at night time really so because I haven't missed a week yet we went for a weird torch look LOL
-
Bella might have started the trend LOL, she did this in June last year ETA - she did this on 5 June 2010, I wonder if she started it all
-
I will be there - helping out the official photograher Colin Sarantis along with Wendy Mitchell, so don't forget to stop by the podium and say hi

His photos must have that look, when I started looking through the book I thought he was from the UK, only realised he was from US when I read a bit about him
-
I love them all, the frosted dogs are amazing, especially coming from such a different climate

If you love photography and gundogs check out this book - Orvis Book of Dogs, or the website. Photography is by Denver Bryan http://www.denverbryan.com/ Our local Borders is closing down and I got the book for what I thought was a bargain price $16 (was $82), until I checked out amazon who have it for $2.45 LOL

hahaha I didn't know you were on Dogzonline, small world. Congrats

I didn't really train Bella while she was in season, but she was always happy when she was in season (desexed now), but one thing is for sure is that after the break she came back even better, so I say the break can work wonders

Doesn't matter how good a photographer you are, you have to market properly to make the cut
-
definately the 2nd, the dog is moving into the frame, not out of it ETA, neither have the dog in the centre

My photo for week 20 I have a desktop calendar with dog quotes, so I decided to use some of them for my weekly photos, this is the first one "At work you may be bottom of the pile but to your pooch you're leader of the pack." ... Jo Winter .

Are they a proper breed yet? What about an english springer spaniel i love the brittany i met a few at the brisbane Ekka they seem like lovely dogs It looks like they are heading towards it.They may have a different name then.I like Springer and brittany .What would be the grooming requirements for them ?Thanks. The Brittany has a lot less coat and is less maintenance than a Springer and there is no clipping etc required for a pet, doesn't mean you can't do it but it isnt necessary. The best thing to have handy with a brittany is a good wire comb as well as a brush and make sure that you comb the feathering, the hair behind the ears and the hair between the toes as this is where they will get knots, but it is very easy to do and if done reguarly doesn't take long at all. Sound temperament, good with children (under supervision) - yes No tendency or predisposition for dog aggression - yes Looks (ie as a deterrent) - no, more likely to attract positive attention haha Size - medium Low shedding/grooming

looks to me like a few got left out or arrived late and they have added them in after they did the catalogue - just a guess though
-
aawww, look at that, puppy photos soon

great photos everyone. Doesn't Tali look so sweet in that photo Here is Chazer's for this week, he wouldn't look toward the camera LOL .

Roll Over Rover in Grovedale are good too. Although I go there to do my own dog I have seen her doing a Poodle a few times and she is a great groomer, she is a lovely person too which helps.

good to know TLC, thanks

Bella will be 12 this year. Although she gets around fine I was thinking it would be good to give her Sasha's Blend or something similar. I chose this brand because it has such a good reputation. Do others use this or similar, and where is the cheapest place to get it?

Just hoping someone can help me with this. If a dobe has a slightly sloping topline on the stack as per the standard will the topline be sloped when trotting in the ring or will it appear level on the move?
