  1. Action last week, resting this week LOL. Chazer was 8 this week, maybe he overdid the celebrations :-) I had to test my flash for an event I was photographing on Friday and for a wedding I helped a photographer with on Saturday - Chazer was just lying there so I quicky snapped this one. .

  4. I know what you mean I was laughing when I saw it. Chazer did love Kyla, a bit too much it seems - Kyla has been replaced by Tali's sister (Papillon) who he met on the weekend - he was obsessed with her LOL very funny Annie
  5. It is funny how the body language changes with Tali, I got this one too She must bring out the gentle side of him LOL I think Kyla just wants them to run
  6. This is Chazer's photo for week 34, Katalily had the great idea for some action shots, have also added the weekly Chazer & Kyla photo .

Chazer said rubbish, why isn't Kyla with me in the photo, why is there an imposter
  8. Such a fluke photo but very funny. Chazer was in love the with front end of this dog until he met a black and white Papillon yesterday and now he has a new love
  9. Looks like you are enjoying the lens, great photos
  10. This is what you would get if you crossed a Brittany with a Finnish Lapphund - I swear there is no photoshop, a true photo ETA - this was so funny I had to share, Chazer does love Kyla
  11. There is also Airdogs and Wag School Books
  12. The best thing to do is go and watch a class at a couple of places and go with what you prefer for yourself.
  13. Week 33 - the two rebels at the no standing sign, Kyla again LOL. Taken after a great dancing with dogs workshop today - loving my retro phone camera
  14. A Brittany does tick all the boxes. They are in the weight range you have mentioned Brittanys are groomed for the showring, but when a pet a good metal comb is a great thing to have, comb them through around 1-2 times a week, paying attention to all the feathering, as well as the feathering between the paws, very easy to dog, and maybe a bit of a brush afterwards. A Brittany needs training, trained in the right way they are fantastic Brittanys really do love everyone and are very affectionate, mine will try anything to get pats from other people They do love excerise, Bella was doing all day walks still at 10. They are pretty relaxed inside, but of course might play up as a puppy and will still want a wonder outside during the day. The Brittany coat can be straight or wavy. The ones you see with the 'thinner' coats have probably been groomed for the showring where there is clipping and/or stripping/thinning involved. It is still easy enough to comb through when they haven't been groomed.
  15. The best dog to do agility with is the one that is in your back yard, or the one that suits your lifestyle best because they are not just agility machines. There is no way I would have a Border Collie or Kelpie, just not right for my lifestyle, even though they are lovely dogs Brittany are great for agility, I have videos of us running with a sea of working dogs in the background, managed to get in quite a few wins though ;) there have also been a couple of Brittanys over time do very well at nationals, which is quite an achievement for a numerically small breed and I am not biased at all LOL I have seen a few Dallies here in Victoria doing agility, the dogs really enjoyed it, give it a go I reckon
  16. Everyone's photos look nice and pink on my monitor at the moment LOL. My normal monitor is in getting fixed - that is why I have been absent for a few weeks. I have taken a few with my good old mobile phone retro camera app, so here they are The first one is Chazer with another familiar face from here after a bit of a run together, they look like they are up to no good And this is Chazer on his own a few weeks ago, I reckon Kyla must make him happy (either that or leads him astray)
  17. I didn't enter anything last year due to lack of time, so hope there is more time. I have the photo worked out for the first brief so just need to remember to enter it LOL

    Red Dog

Some friends from my obedience club who do lots of tricks were invited to the local premier, they did a live show before the movie, it was a surprise for those attending, they said it was fantastic
  19. he looks adorable in his new kennel, love the tongue sticking out
  20. I don't think the D60 has a focus adjuster for the view finder, so that option is out (some cameras allow you to adjust to your vision problems so that you don't have to wear your glasses). I wear glasses while using my camera with no problems. Can you describe what bothers you about the glasses? How funny, we postd at the same time, dispells my theory for her camera
  21. Hi, not sure of the proper terminology but you should be able to adjust the viewfinder to suit your eyes. I found this the hard way when working for someone else using their camera and panicked because nothing was focusing, then I was told the viewfinder was adjusted, so there was a dial just below and I turned it a few times and everything came into focus I imagine there would be something in your manual about it
  22. Just a thought, as a standard poodle lover, for agility you might want to also look at lines where the dogs tend to be on the smaller size rather than lines that tend to produce larger dogs
  23. Great news, I didn't know that, is there any reference available for the signs that will be used? The club you came to in Geelong still has rally classes going and is having another Rally workshop, not sure who is running it. Have you spoken to OTEC people about rally at all? They may be happy for some help with it
