  1. Great photos clickingmad. You should have prodded Chester out of the way for that photo of Lotus, it is still cute This is my 52 week photo of Chazer, the challenge from the group was to do a hand over photo, so this is Chazer doing a handover to Tilly. I love this because Tilly looks rather pleased about the idea and she is always taking over whatever spot Chazer is settled in LOL.
  2. Here is a great inspriing link I found for us project 365ers http://content.photojojo.com/tutorials/project-365-take-a-photo-a-day/
  3. I made it to day 3 last year, but will try again It is even harder this year, 366 days. Is anyone else in the flickr group or thinking of joining? http://www.flickr.com/groups/project_365/ - ETA my set URL, hopefully doesnt show with photos this time so here is day one, taken this morning, also for the 52 weeks handover photo to the next dog My set URL
  4. That is adorable Weibritty, finished with a bang LOL Is the stars from the bokeh kit? I am thinking of getting one, mainly to use the hearts for Tilly's 52 weeks because she was born Valentines day and her pedigree name is Ch Riverreed Hearts Nmotion
  5. I close one eye, and I think screw my face up - look out for the photo wrinkles LOL
  6. Well a Brittany pretty much ticks all the boxes
  7. Hi Nadsi. In my experience you won't need a bell for a Brittany to tell you they need to go outside, they will train you in no time to know if they want to go outside If my dogs want to go out they simply go to the door, but if I am settled somewhere where I cant see them they will come and let me know they want out I love a book The Perfect Puppy by Gwen Bailey. Apart from that there are a couple of good free books, good but not quite as good http://www.dunbarinoz.com/FreeeBooks.aspx - just don't rely too heavily on the crate. ETA the one bit I don't like about Ian Dunbar is the American influence of keeping dogs inside all the time when you are not at home, and a heavy reliance on the crate, if you crate too long with a Brittany you will drive it nuts
  8. sorry to hear about Tango, very sad news
  9. I am going to do Tilly this year. Poor Tilly had cancer then had some cronic health problems that followed, as a result she might get missing hair sometimes (but hopefully not) and bad looking eyes, but she is fine really. If she ever looks a bit ragged it is not neglect She is also very camera shy, so I will probably do a bit of shooting from the hip with her. I was going to stop but I really need a book of Tilly photos :-) I have added a new set ETA not sure why it is showing a slideshow, this is the URL without the http www.flickr.com/photos/rivamist/sets/72157628609221221/ Looking forward to seeing photos of Zoro
  10. great photos, it was pretty bad hail, wasn't it, but a white Christmas Too bad your car got dented, there were some really badly damaged cars. We were warned it was coming via a phone call so I managed to move my car mostly under a tree. The person who phoned had his Peugot badly dented
  11. I am glad they are wacky in a nice way Instead I would say they are in love with life
  12. I didn't get the brown trout kelpie one last year- the pictures just were not that amazing, and I don't think all the kelpies were.... kelpies lol. I am hoping that I can stop being lazy and do my own calendar this year!! The Weekly Times has a calendar each year that features a lot of Kelpies, fantastic photos as they have a great dog photographer there
  13. By the way did I did forget to mention Brittanys make great cafe visiting dogs :D We go for a walk with friends and our dogs and stop at the cafes 1/2 way, this one is of Bella while we were out socalising a friend's puppy. Chazer is fantastic, he just lies down on his side and chills. The dogs we go with sometimes bark at things going past, my dogs just wonder what the fuss is lOL
  14. I got a photo book called 1000 dogs, covers my two favorite things, dogs and photography
  15. I will add what I said here in the Brittany thread in case anyone else is interested: Hi. I looked at Welshies very carefully before choosing Brittanys, I know a few Welshie breeders. Welshies have more coat They are shorter in. leg and heavier in body I would say they are not much different as far as exercise requirements go The biggest decider for me was temperament, and in my opinion Brittanys were the big winners. Brittanys were more outgoing and much less timid/shy (sorry Welshie people). When I looked at Brittanys the personalities of the dogs I met were so much better.I got what I wanted, a breed of dog that is super intelligent, and is so very affectionate with people, not only do they love their owners but everyone else as well
  16. Who is doing 52 weeks for dogs in 2012? I am in if anyone else wants to join in
  17. That is so cute, I love the flour on his nose I didn't do my Christmas photo until today, a bit last minute this year (did mine in November last year). This is the card I made, all ready for next year .
  18. This was my first years attempt with a naughty puppy. How cute, she sure has changed
  19. how funny is that, they sure are attracting some attention Great photos everyone
  20. Well I finally did mine today, for my 52 weeks project Remember this Christmas - good things come in small packages .
  21. Great to see everyone is in the Christmas spirit. I have missed a few weeks but had to do a Christmas shot, so back in the swing on things now Chazer was learning to hop into a small box for the tricks class we did this year, we are still working down to a smaller box Remember this Christmas - good things come in small packages .
  22. Agreed! I had the exact same thought whilst I was browsing the website. Can anyone tell me some more about Chris Bach please? Surely someone in Australia with a doggie business wants to start up a library with a great range like this hint hint for anyone reading
