Great photos everyone. I am not a fan of landscape either, but this project is great, making me take photos I would never have taken otherwise. Day 9 - Just when I thought I had nothing to photograph, I left work and found my photo just around the corner. By the time I left work the streets were deserted and the shadows struck me. Taken with my Samsang Galaxy phone.

January 8, 2012 - Have made to to the 2nd week, only 51 to go :-) It is a lazy Sunday, so what else to do but photograph some food :-). I think food photos are popular default for a project 365. The bowl I got as a Christmas present from my sister, isn't it great

ditto what Gail said, I always use primes, except for the occasional show photo, although sometimes a zoom is great for things that are happening a long distance away.

This is my photo for day 7, 7 January 2012. Such a beautiful day, so I took my dog Tilly to the dog beach, she loves running there are meeting the other dogs. This is a seat along the path to the beach. The council used to look after it and it was rather ordinary looking, but now the weeks/grasses have grown around the seat it is very photogenic, so I am not complaining :-)

Meet Tilly, my model for my third year of 52 weeks for dogs. If you ask anyone which of my dogs is their favorite most people will say Tilly, she is sweet, gentle and loveable. She is a Brittany, she has had some obedience training a done a little bit of agility, and was very sucessful in the show ring, and she is a runner up best in specialty show winner. She will be 10 on valentines day. I love this first photo of her, it is so serene just like her. I took it on my old 350D, wish it had been on a bigger megapixel camera, but then again glad I didn't take my best camera as another dog on the beach jumped on me then shook all over the camera LOL
-

Cute money box, 1/2 price because it has 2011 on it probably I only kill the spiders as a last resort, so they are safe for now But I know I should be very scared

Day 6 - Had a lucky escape from my house this morning. There was a huntsman spider guarding the front door, and a huntsman spider guarding the back door - and no inspect spray to fight them with, but I had a lucky escape :-). I stopped at the supermarket before I went home to get some insect spray, so now I am ready for them . PS - I hate being in front of the camera, but did it, a self portrait
-
Dogsportobsessed, great day 5 photos, I prefer the top one too Lovemysideways, fantastic photo, love the brilliant blue, I am guessing it is a mosquito Newfies - great catch getting the bird in the next, not many people manage to get a photo like that one Mavericks Mission - Mav looks very cute :-)

Isn't my new bag fabulous :-) I think the reason I didn't get past day three last year of my project 365 was the fact I never had a camera on me. Now I don't have that excuse this year, I took my Christmas present money, and brought myself a new bag big enough to fit a camera in it. Now I can take a random shot during the day :-)
-
Newfsie, love the flying sparks, and the cockatoos are gorgeous Misterie, great photo, nice of the bee to pop by for you The car is beautiful Lovemysideways, great photo, I think it was the day for purple flowers DogsportObsessed, very creative Happylapyz, great photo of Fable Mavericksmission, more purple flowers, glad you found some too Beth, gorgeous photos, I especially love the day 3 and day four

Day 4, January 4th, I am not a gardener at all, these are the only flowers in my garden. I usually ignore their existance, but because I am doing project 365 I spotted them when I got home with the sun behind, ran in, got the camera and fired away. Maybe I should start planting flowers :-) .
-
Starlapyz - That is areally beautiful sunset photo, love the colours and the sky is amazing Misteri - Gorgeous sunset from you too, what an effort walking all that way RalleyValley, great photo, he is looking very alert, but day 4 is cuter :D Dogsportobsessed - brilliant photo, the movement is perfect Mavericksmission great photo, love the droplets
