http://www.dogzonline.com.au/shop/Scripts/...p?idCategory=22 There are first aid kits sold on here! Hope that helps! -

I don't think you can really go wrong with EP Holisitic Large/Giant Puppy - in that a number of the persons with Giant Breeds on here feed that to their pups - 100% balanced and you will probably be able to find it pretty easy to get! Here is the stockist list in SA http://eaglepack.com.au/Stockists/SouthAus...72/Default.aspx

Nutro No Longer Available In Australia
First Time Puppy Owner replied to 4 Paws's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
MM - a few suggestions that might help - Orijen as you already said, Artemis, EP Holistic in either Lamb and Rice, Anchovy or Duck. -
I would see if you can get any of the following and depends how much you can afford. Remember the more concentracted the food the less you need to feed thus calculate the cost per day as well as how much the bag is it's self! I.e. Benson got on EP 2 - 2 1/2 cups depending if bones given or not. Eagle Pack Holistic (Large and Giant Breed Puppy) Artemis (Medium/Large Breed Puppy) Royal Canin ( http://www.royalcanin.com.au/dog_maxi.htm ) Advance (Large Breed Puppy) Proplan (Puppy Large Breed)

Six chicken necks frozen together in a ball can't be swallowed!
-
Well I buy bones and frames in bulk (way cheaper from a butcher that way) so I have to freeze them or other wise they will go off, plus that way they have it for longer, can't swallow and espcially good in summer for heat and teething puppies. I even freeze brisket bones!

Orijen Is Now Avaliable In Australia
First Time Puppy Owner replied to laffi's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
I really need to start keeping a diary of these things - I think my boy has been on it for around 4 - 5 wks and he is starting to resemble a Golden Retriever finally! But I am not sure how much I can attribute to the food and how much to the mega oil he is on. See he has had seriously skin issues. -
Oops I pm'ed my thank yous to Harminee - but THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!! :D I LOVE IT!!!!

Hi there! Just wondering if someone could make me a signature too - no hurry, just greatly appreciated! Benson (is the dog) and Bella. Thanks again! Suz

From how I read the response it was regarding the 6 Fish Orijen (Not Adult, Puppy or Large Puppy) and this variety is not currently avaliable in Australia!?!

Yep, I found the Nature's Own and been pretty happy with it. The biotin for horses should be fine, so long as its still just pure biotin - I found it to be really expensive though, especially compared to the Nature's Own. Awesome Stormie - has your boy's itching reduced since you started him on it? Also is it just one capsula a day? Cheers

Could I ask 4Paws what that supplement contains and if you stock Biotin at all? -
Orijen - Tried It And Loved It!
First Time Puppy Owner replied to nellybly10's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
I am not sure what is helping my boy's condition at the moment - the food or supplements but his coat is getting thicker and softer (was previously like straw to touch) and he loves it. I agree the smell is so fresh, nothing like other biscuits I have had him on previously. -
Hi - any help or advice, greatly appreciated! Just wondering - the Biotin from Horse suppliers, can you use it for a dog? Did you end up getting Biotin from Nature's Own Stormie? Also I am currently giving my boy the Supplement - Dr Bruce's Health Booster, which states Vit B and I feed Orijen which contains Biotin 0.6 mg/kg. My question is can I still give Biotin to see if it further assists my boy or don't bother as he will just pee it out? Thank you!
